In a group I participate in a church, we have been learning about Life Shapes. We do this to remember certian stuff about Christianity easier. The shape we did last was the( you guessed it) Octagon. As you should know, the Octagon is an eight sided figure. Here is how it relate to Christianity(sorry, I don't have a visual thing):

Snce there are eight sides to an Octagon,there are eight boxes. They are:

Peace- a person of peace is open to the gospel.

Presence- wherever you are, you are there. Make the most of it.

Passing- a relationship where you only see the person once, but still share the word.

Permanent- a relationship where you always see the person. Often hardest to evangelize for they know who you are.

Proclamation- proclaiming God's word to them

Preparation- prepare the person for something better than where they are at now

Power- this only happens through God's will. Miracles

Perception- Ask yourself," Are they ready to move on in their faith


These are the eight P's of Evangelism. Now onto a new letter. Here are a few things to do and expect.

Time- Time it right. Make sure they are ready.

Team- Go out with one or more people to make it easier.

Target- Make sure you know who you want to get first since you cant be everywhere at once.

Task- Make sure you can expect the task at hand.

Trouble- you will encounterthis on the road to evangelizing.

No problem. I have other life shapes, but those are on different subjects like increasing the faith and on what the christian life should be. If anyone wants me to post them, just tell me.

These are suggestions for evangelism. You don't have to follow them if you don't want. I just posted it hoping it would help people. This stuff goes along with the scripture and word. You still explain to them of what the faith is and who God is, but these are just little help tools.
