This place'll be for everybody to post introductions and such.
I'll start if off.
I'm Psychosis, been here since '03 (On Gaia). I enjoy Trance & House mostly, I've been branching out into DnB and Jungle though.
**EDIT** Changed the title so all the new people can introduce themselves razz

I go by Kenzi in real life, used to go by that online but found it boring so I changed my username. I've been on Gaia since October '03 - my first account was pynku, my second [Kenzi]. This is my third. I'm a starving (well, not really) college student turning 19 on March 31st, and uh...I'm cool. 3nodding
As far as taste in music goes, I'm all across the board. Most people I know strongly prefer one or two genres, but I enjoy most of what I've heard on some level or another. I love funky house and deep house, some trance, prog, breaks, DnB (especially the dark stuff), some IDM, trip-hop, ambient...recently I've developed a taste for UK hardcore/gabber/freeform. I guess I'm just a music lover in general; I also love indie music and post-rock as well as jazz and the occasional mainstream pop/rock song.
I suppose I'm posting more than I need to, but I think most people enjoy talking about themselves. ;3 So that's me in a nutshell.

My name is Mr. Mitternacht (Jon Dillinger in real life). I've loved Trance since the 80s. However I never knew what music I was listening to. Later I heard Disco. But it simply faded away. Life went on and I later enjoyed Rock and Roll. Not much of it though. Then I heard Trance on the radio and it gave me goose bumps of happyness. xd But after that it faded away. 9:00 PM, Fresno, CA, '04 my brother was going to turn up the volume to his favorite music and accidently found Satellite Radio Bilinguie(sp?) He said, "Hey, Jon, come here!" I went to see what was up and boom, Trance. It's known as the Trance Universe. The DJs are DJ Omar Trance and Mike FX. They got the Trance Universe from the Electric Universe, which is Psytrance. I stayed up until 12:00 AM listening to the music they put in. What makes it cool is that DJ Omar Trance orders electronic music from the U.K. I'm staying with Trance from now on and there is no way it's escaping my reach. I found a store in Fresno called Borders. It sells, book, manga, anime plushies, and music. I introduced myself to D&B. 3nodding Anyway, this is my story about how I came across electronic music. biggrin My favorite DJ is Lasgo. My favorite song? Hm... Kontakt's - Show Me a Sign. I want to be a DJ one day so I can make some cool music too. sweatdrop

Hey Im White Linen, formely known as Exeron Saiiris. My real name is Thomas. I live In Quebec (wich is in the east part of Canada, that big giant triangle up north). I speak french (mainly) and english. Though some repetitive syntax and grammar error, i'm not that bad at the shakespearian language. I am a CEGEP student (weird education system we got here, it's like pre-college. YES i am an ex dropout!)I think i do partay too much, but life wouldnt be fun without it I think. I also enjoy romantic dinners by candlelight and long walks on the beach. xd lol I just turned 22 last saturday and i am proud to be the father of a brand new iPOD shuffle. mrgreen As for music goes, i'm a very rough critic. I like quality and innovation. I like something that sparkles glam or dare to go in knee deep and twitches your neural net. That's why I absolutely love 2 very opposite genre: Psy/Goa and Electro-clash. My fave artists are: Psy: Logic Bomb - Oh my god! psy psy psy! Dark Soho - Creepy atmospheric thumping buttrock at it's best Electro-Clash: Tiga - Ocean Drive, enough said. Dopplereffekt - Anyone who does a track about making love to a plastic mannequin deserves respect. But that's only for the electronic part. Punk has also taken quite a bit of my life ( 10 years to be precise). SO i can't let that go. I won't, it still makes the fire burn in me. I also found a recent and profound interest in both EBM and Electro-driven indie music. I will explore more of that in the future. Well, that's me! biggrin *bows*

Hello all! In real life, I go by Christina, here on Gaia, I am Satil, which means "sunshine", I can't remember which language, I read it in a book. stare I turn 21 today! Yay me! I love trance. All forms. I also like breaks, mainly the trancey kind, but I can like anything as long as it has a good beat and isn't boring, but I prefer some sort of melody. I'm not really one for house, except hard house, it rocks! I suppose my boyfriend got me into edm really, he first found it by branching off from his love for RPG music when he was little. Yes, we are both geeks. I am a college student studying social work. I live in Tennessee and it is hard to find fellow edm lovers here. I have a friend who introduced me to Gaia who is a psytrance producer and DJ. I will spread the word on to him! When I figure out how to put up a picture of me, I will do so, if anyone desires. smile I could write more, but I won't for now. I'm sure we will all get to know each other more as time goes on. I look forward to it.

I'm Rachel, and I've been on Gaia for about a year now. My boyfriend got me hooked on trance, then all things rave, last fall. Currently I'm trying to develop my artistic skills in the hopes of someday being a VJ ... 2-D still work is the best I've done so far, as animation is still a step away for me. I can offer some interesting fractal artwork to anyone who wants some.

My real name is actually messed up by the gaian forums, since it contains a letter thats not in the english alphabet. This is how it is supposed to be: . I've lived in the US for half a year (Grand Forks, ND) and people just called me Vinnie. But whatever, a name isn't that important. Anyway, I'm from Norway, where I live now, and I'm possibly one of the older users on these forums, seeing there are a LOT of kids here wink I got into electronic music in the early 90's, with artist like Snap!, 2 Unlimited, Felix, Dr. Alban etc. I became a huge fan of Prodigy later on, and didn't really know what music I was into. Until the day I heard Trancemaster 19 (Three Drives - Greece 2000, Planet Fuse - Devotion (Heavens Gate Remix), DJ Jo - Relax (Club Mix), Sosa - Accellerator (Taucher Remix) ++) and was blown away. This was the music I'd really wanted to listen to all my life. From that day on it's been electonica only and mostly trance. Uplifting at first, then some psy and goa, now it's more progressive house/trance, breaks and tech-trance, but of course I still love a quality uplifting trance banger! I'm quite open-minded when it comes to music, so I can enjoy a lot of different stuff, but in the end I still only listen to what I love 3nodding I think I've already posted my favorite producer in a thread, but thats probably long gone in all the different stuff that gets posted in the electronic-forums. Mentioning a couple: James Holden, Sasha, Cass & Slide, Vincent De Moor, Steve Porter, Yunus, Petter, Perry O'Neil, Michael Woods, Art of Trance, Benz & MD.. Damnit, there's to many wink - I forgot I had food in the oven while writing this, it's totally scorched black. Yay!

I'm Hilary, aka Innocent Alice. Alice is a cool name. It makes me think of playing cards and flamingo croquet. Anyways...I'm a Freshman in college studying for my history degree. I am currently working at one of our college's two radio stations, the Pulse 1330, which is an electronica station. We have no money, so you can't really hear us on the radio, but you can stream it at www.pulse1330.com . SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION! xd
Anyhow...Kenzi, aka Sparkling Fig Juice, first introduced me to electronica in 8th grade with a combination of mix CDs and a few rounds of DDR. Thankfully, we both learned more about the music and the scene. I especially like Happy Hardcore, because I'm a happy little kid like that. I also enjoy trance, breaks, and hardcore in general.
I am currently a fangirl of: Madora Mew, a local DJ who spins happy hardcore.

The name sounds familiar but I don't recall ever seeing him spin... gonk I'm a fan of Madora Mew too though, mostly because she's completely adorable. I can also vouch for the fact that Hilary is a WAY COOL TOTALLY AWESOME OMG OMG kid because I've known her since 7th grade and she is, by far, the most intelligent kandyish person you're ever going to meet. Actually, scratch that, she's probably one of the most intelligent people her age you'll ever meet. That reminds me...do you think Lane would be interested in this guild, Hilary? If so, I'll invite him. 3nodding
