There are way too many conversations going on in different threads. They aren't even about the topic. Instead of making several new threads, you can post whatever here.

No problem. When I saw people posting about fights in the Men and Prom thread, I thought it was time to make an off-topic thread.

Yeah... they kindof went off on a tangent there..didn't they? (Good thing too...I'd much rather read about fights than to read about why all men are evil. It just doesn't portray us in a good light)

With a name like that, I can hazard a guess at the personality:
This person is a mathematician, or wants to be, but can only count up to 3 and views it as somewhat of an accomplishment that he/she can count down from that number. They ran-away from a monestary and have taken on the roll of a gun-weilding desparado making his/her way across the country. They have temporarily stopped in Minnesota because their car broke down and then they got snowed in.
And they speak Russia. Just because. They also consider themselves a master of the arts of Ithemahe and Oragami, oragami being paper-folding, Ithemahe being an art so ancient that know one really has a flippin' clue what the heck it means.
Does that sound at all plausable?

I have a question... If this is the off-topic thread, what things are considered on-topic? I'm not sure I get it...

If the thread has an acctual topic in the TOPIC line of (what you see as the title for a thread) then that is what that thread should be about.

So, in other words, if it's a new topic, you can post it here... But if it's a new topic that's actually going somewhere, we can actually post a new thread, right?

You can talk about anything here. Instead of making a new thread, you post it here.

Though, at times, I daresay new threads would work better than having three or four different conversations going on in one off-topic thread. Right?

I have a feeling you have no idea what the point of this thread is for. It won't have several conversations at once. There will be several different conversations, but not at the same time.
