I'm an old dude... so I like the old stuff. Or rather the stuff that is becoming old.
Motley Crue, Poison, Warrant, Slaughter, Metallica.
I do like some of the newer stuff, like Bowling for Soup, and Good Charolette, Sum 41.
But I also like much older stuff like Pink Floyd.
Ok... so I really like a lot of stuff. I'm so pathetic. sweatdrop

I like lots of different stuff too.
I'm into many different genres. Rock, Metal, Ska, Punk, Electronica and some Rap, R&B and Hip Hop.
Some bands I like are System of a Down, Rage Against the Machine, Green Day, Korn, Nirvana, Alexisonfire, Static X, NOFX....and many more.
For electronica I'm more in to the harder beats, stuff that's really good to dance to, such as Hardcore, Hard House, Hard Trance, Trance, Darkcore, Speedcore, DnB.
And I know that meant absolutely nothing to any of you.
But that's what I'm in to. whee

I'm the oddball here in Paradise. I'm into new country music. I like various artists, like George Canyon (Nashville Star 2003 runner up), Paul Brandt, Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich (though they don't really sound country to me ^_^), Reba McEntire and such.
One of the nicest concerts I've ever been to was the one for Lonestar at Casino Rama. It was for Valentine's Day last year. I took my hubby for the holiday and we stayed in a hotel near the Casino. We did a bit of gambling and won a bit of money (nothing major though heh) but had a lot of fun. smile
I would love to see many country singers in concert, like Brooks & Dunn (saw them as part of a grouping of singers at a festival a couple years ago), Alabama (they've retired so won't happen.. crying ) , Reba McEntire and so forth. smile
I also seem to have a thing for soundtracks. My latest one is the soundtrack from the movie Chicago. I'll often sing along to them. I've got a couple Disney ones, and the original London cast of Phantom of the Opera.

Here are the musical I listen to
Jesus Christ Superstar; the original broadway cast recording and the movie, Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Chicago, Les Miserable, South Pacific, Sound of Music, Mad Woman of Chillow(sp?), Aladdin, Lion King, Little Mermaid(yes Little mermaid)

I like all music. Period. Even if it's not that good, I'll listen to it. But my favorites are all kinds of rock, techno, and DDR music. xp

I like mostly rock/alternative music. I feel old using an 80'/90's term... sweatdrop I listen to 311, Disturbed, A.F.I., Linkin Park, No Doubt, Blink 182, and some other bands but I can't think of their names right now. sweatdrop That's what happens when you get old...

I mainly listen to country music and movie soundtracks. whee Favorite artists are Bryan White heart , Alabama whee , Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Toby Keith , Garth Brooks and so many more. For the past week I've been listening to my POTO soundtrack almost nonstop. sweatdrop

Valdata Dragonroselillie, Sarah McLachlan and Loreena McKennitt. Both very talented and gifted women. yes they are. Sarah McLachlan sings a song on one of Delliriums albums. Very nice indeed.

I'm starting to like Tim McGraw. His music is pretty good even though I don't really like country music. ^^; He's also not bad looking... >> I'm also addicted to 311. I've been listening to their greatest hits album lately. It's really good. ^^

Has anyone in here heard of the band Jakalope? They are just starting to become big over here in Canada and I know in the states they have only released the song Pretty Life so far.
I just saw them at a local concert last week and they were amazing!!!

I haven't been going out to the local shows very much lately. I am however going to see Alexisonfire for the third time on Monday. I can't wait! whee

I haven't heard of Jackalope but if it's not country, I generally don't know it. LOL
Tai - you and me can be the oddballs of Paradise! YAY! I'm not alone! I'm so pleased!! xd
Brian White is great.. and HOT.. wowie.. And Paul Brandt has a voice that makes me melt...
I do admit my favourite right now is George Canyon. He's from Nova Scotia, though I forget which city... lol. He's really great. smile
