Actually, while I have some free time, I would like to get a D2 LoD campaign together. Yeah, it's old, but it's still good.
It would pretty much be an OPEN game, no hacks, so that you could use the premaid characters you have. Or, we could start a completely new campaign.
Anyway, just a though, since I have a lot of spare time at the moment and I spend it playing D2 solo.
Any takers?
And a small note to Twistex (and to whom else it may apply):
Hey, Twisty, I looked into the "incident" where we couldn't join each other's servers, and it seems that upgradingn from 1.10a/b beta to 1.10 public is the reason. Running the 1.09 revert whatever batch then overwriting the original source files with fresh one from 1.07 public THEN upgrading to 1.10 public fixees it though, but if you don't have the orignal source file... Well... stash your saved characters somewhere and reinstal. Anyway... Umm... Yeah.
UPDATE!!!
Hotfeet has joined Xeon and I in the quest to slay Baal, the Lord of Destruction. Our party of three is now around level 18-ish, and on quest 2, Act 2, if anyone is still thinking of joining. That is all. 3nodding

I would LOVE to play, but my discs are shot to hell. I think my LOD disc is good, but the install and play discs for classic are fried. D2 is the only game i have ever worn out, and i have done so twice...my brother once.
Man, i could really go for a box of generic frosted Cheerios.

Foolish Man, i could really go for a box of generic frosted Cheerios I totally didn't read that, but if I were to send a box of "Ice-O's" brand cereal (TM) your way, how would I go about making them? wink And cool that people wanna play. 3nodding Now all we need is a time... Pretty much any time in the afternoon is good by me. I would just start a random server and keep it up or something, but my video card is acting up on me... I think I've quelled it for now, but I wanna be careful not to crash a server or something after the party's gained like, 10 levels or something. sweatdrop

Diablo 2 is not a good game. It's an addictive game that ruins lives. It is almost as bad as everquest. That is all.

I would if the fact that it's on PST time wouldn't mess up with my work schedule ...
