what you could do for the screen is purchase this gel that competely vams away everything but it's 20 quid per tube.have you tried just moving the nds around so the dust goes to the unwanted part of the screen.if this is still bugging you consult your dealer!

No joy. I'll probably get like 10% of the credit for a Lite that I paid for my first DS ( crying ) so I might try selling it at school. Good idea?

becaus of the finacal difficultys nintendo was having at the time the ds's were shipped to the south of china to be made.because of the lack of money they didn't have enough to purchase a dust blower that gets rid of the dust so the dust from the inner painting jobs was never cleaned out and that's why you have the dust(i read it in the first offical nintendo mag)

Hmm I've seen on nintendo's site that you can order a screen repair kit for the top screen. Oddly enough, I didn't find one for the bottom screen.

THe reason you probably hear it then is night time tends to be quieter. as for the scratching it might be because there are scratches on your screen and when the stylus moves over them you can hear it. Sometimes you can't see the scratchs but the stylus will still make noise. My pda has scratches on a corner and it makes noises there. So just try to be lighter with your stylus or you will end up with what they have on displays. the touch screen will sense very very light taps

All you have to do is keep both DS's on, make sure you have a WiFi compatible game, and then go to options on the WiFi menu and just go to transfer settings. You will lose all the data on your old DS but the DS lite will have it in exchange. Simple as that. razz

Oh, and as for the dust, well, I don't know what to tell you. I've never had that happen to me. However I believe you can go to EBGames or Gamestop to get it fixed. razz
