Yep, yep. Everyone's got one. Maybe more than one. It can be hard to decide!
Mine's Legend of Mana. What's yours?

I flip-flop frequently.
Sometimes I say it's a Final Fantasy. Sometimes I say it's Space Station Silicon Valley, a rare and little-known N64 game that is so much fun. Sometimes I say it's Donkey Kong Country because it was my first.
But lately...
I think I might have to go with Galaga. rofl If I had a Galaga machine, I would never leave it. Ever. I would develop The Claw like Chandler did after playing Ms. Pac-Man for so long in that one episode of Friends. I hunt for it in arcades. When I discovered that my favorite pizza place in Texas had replaced some awful shooting game with a Galaga machine, the wait for pizza was shorter than it had ever been. I've never actually been disappointed to see the pizza show up. I didn't even want to eat. Now that's saying something, because this place has amazing pizza. xp
So, yes. As of now, I'm definitely going to have to go with Galaga, because I wish beyond so many wishes that I had my very own Galaga machine. :3

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
LOVE Link. heart LOVE the music. LOVE how it looks. (Even today with it's almost 10 year old graphics I think it's one of the most beautifull video games ever.) Love the shipping potential. (Link/Malon!) whee Biggoron. NEED I say more? No.

Lunar: Silver Star Story or Lunar Legend, since they're pretty much the same game, just different platforms. I also adore Star Ocean though.

Final Fantasy 8. I know it seems like a NooB to say, but it is what turned me on to gaming.

SO MANY.
Argh.
Um, um...
I'm a huge fan of just about anything Zelda. (Koji Kondo is my hero). OoT is the only game where I could be content doing nothing. It's so absorbing.
I loved the Lunar series... until Dragon Song. That thing is NEVER touching my DS again. They ripped the Ghaleon plot (take me now, you waify elfin stud), the gameplay sucked, the characters were minimally developped. And... (ending spoilers... as if anyone'd actually finish this "game) :: WTF DO YOU MEAN I CAN'T KILL THE FINAL BOSS. WTF, WHY IS TITUS A FAIRY. WTF, I CAN'T CHOOSE THE TARGET ENEMY. ::
The other ones were good, though, despite the fact that I ended up as rich as a Nazi by the end. Lots of sexual tension. ;3
Golden Sun: The Lost Age was excellent. It was very tricky, but just enough so that when I solved the puzzles, I felt really proud.
And THE FIRE EMBLEMS. Oh, God, I'm such a fangirl. It's so hard, but I love the fact that all your characters are different in some way (not all archers are the same, Lute rocks, etc). They all have personalities and... when they die, they stay dead. It's gritty. heart
Only, the writing is a little... um... verbose. xD
... Geez... it's so long. And I haven't even started on Baten Kaitos, the world's best B-Game with the world's worst VAs. Or Tales of Symphonia. Or DDR. Or StarFox (besides "Adventure"). Or Animal Crossing. Or Harvest Moon...

Obviously one of these days I need to play OoT. I have it in the super-collection-of-Zelda-for-GC.
