Salutations
Just thought I'd post on a rather intrigueing subject. I've always been into the paranormal and such. I've lived in haunted houses, I've seen things that cant be explained, and dealt with inhuman entities.
This last area is one that I've been studying somewhat more and more lately.
Has anybody else ever dealt with an inhuman or demonic entity? IF so I'd be glad to hear them. I'll post my stories a little later when I have more time. They involve inhuman spirits, poltergeist, and a snakelike demonic entity connected to an ex-roommate.

you'd be suprised how many people are embodied by demonic entities at some point or another.

i want james to come post here. he nkows *demons* better than me, and could tell some stories. i supposedly had a demonlike kind of pastlife addition to me before that hasn't popped up in ages, and i think that she is done for as it stands. she hasn't been around for so long. but she wasn't like a demon, she was almost like a split personality thing for me, but i knew she was there, and she fed on sexual energy, and liked to lick... but yeah. not so much a demon as i think a past life attatched to this one that was a priestess of some sort of religion i don't get or some cult, i dunno.

LOL you've described a Succubus!

hehe, please do try to get him to post. That would be awesome!
The worst inhuman spirit I've come in contact with took posession of a former room mate. We got a bit of a vocalized "name" through the ex-roommate. It called itself, "The Snake". We managed to get rid of it through a friend of mine who is the head of her coven, channeling chi as a bit of an energy ward, and the christian Rites of Exorcism. (I was fortunate enough to find a copy of the Ritual Romani at a used bookstore.)
Needless to say it was the biggest pain in the a** to get this thing to leave, and last I heard, it still trys to get him now and again.

yeah, alot of people have demons associated with trauma or past lives. my high priestess had an ex who had a demon, which apparently came to be him when his dad beat him over the head with a hammer as a child. it had a name and everything, and came out when he did drugs. freaky s**t. she doesn't *excorcise* teh demon because he has to be willing to have it gotten rid of, andask for help. but he hasn't, and may not.

the story i heard went like this sad well, at least here is some stuff i found to back up theory)

Cain and Abel are the first and second sons of Adam and Eve, born after the Fall of Man, whose story is told in the Hebrew Bible at Genesis 4 and in the Qu'ran at 5:27-32. In both versions Cain commits the first murder by killing his brother after God rejects his sacrifice but accepts Abel's. Genesis puts some emphasis on the occupations of the brothers; Abel tends flocks while Cain is a farmer.

Baptist and Catholic groups both consider the idea of God cursing an individual to be out of character, and hence take a different stance. Catholics officially view the curse being brought by the ground itself refusing to yield to Cain, whereas some Baptists view the curse as Cain's own aggression, something already present that God merely pointed out rather than added. Conversely, in popular culture, since Victorian times, Cain's bloodlust has often seen him being portrayed as the progenitor of vampires. An even more extreme view is taken in Latter-day Saint theology, where Cain is considered to be Satan's master, the quintessential Son of Perdition, or Perdition itself, the father of secret combinations (i.e. secret societies and organized crime), as well as the first to hold the title Master Mahan meaning master of [the] great secret, that [he] may murder and get gain.

also:
Caine and Abel were asked by God to present a sacrifice of that which they most cared for. Caine chose to kill Abel, his beloved brother, as the offering requested by God. For this he was exiled to the Land of Nod. He was taken in by Lilith, Adam's first wife, and taught to be self-sufficient.

He then became arrogant and three times refused salvation and forgiveness, offered by archangels speaking on behalf of God, saying that by his own grace, and not God's, he would receive salvation. The archangels cursed him three separate times for his pride, giving him the powers and weaknesses of a vampire. Specifically, he received fear of flame from the archangel Michael, vulnerability to sunlight from the archangel Raphael, and immortality, along with the inability for him or his children to sustain themselves on anything but vitae (blood), from the archangel Uriel.

it fits. it also sounds a lot more realistic than the idea of him as bigfoot...

i believe that people just saw big monkies and were scared and didn't want to sound stupid by saying "OHMYGAWD!!! I WAS JUST ATTACKED BY A MONKEEEEEEE!!!!! AAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!" so they started a story about bigfoot. i searched the net and i found nothing relating cain to bigfoot... neutral

yeah, bigfoot sounds like a hoacs. i much prefer to believe the kain theory. it would explain a lot. and also why noone ever saw cain after he was banished.

Actually the mythology of the origin of vampires is totally varied depending who you ask. Some say Cain was the first, others Lilith...the first wife of Adam (before eve came along and said apple). Others will say that it was somebody else who made a deal with a devil.
Still there are even more origin of vampire myths that pop up from time to time. We cant say for sure that Cain was the first. Possible, yes, however there are the other myths to take into account as well.
