I have a couple of times and I definitely got turned down by people I really cared. Sometimes there is a sense of feeling that time is so short, life is short and many have missed out on the Good News. My mum in particular have served Jesus in a way that she have brought her friends closer to God. Winning souls for God is tough but with Him guiding nothing is impossible. I have evangelized to few Muslim, Buddhist and Atheist friends of mine but they were really stubborn but I'm sure God has planted a seed in their heart.

I have with some people. I don't know if any of you have heard of this but I'm in the Neocatechumenal Way. We went to San Fransisco, Las Vegas, Amsterdam, and some other places. We were looked at very weird and we almost go aressed. It was a great experience.

That sounds so cool, like you get live up to God's challenge.

I have attempted to, only to have it come right back into my face. I am a guy that feels insecure in some times. The biggest mistake for me is I rely on me and don't ask for God's will to be done before I attempt to evangelize.

Don't worry God will help you when you continue to walk with him.

"I've been jumped at with hopes to be evangelized many times. Hmpf, noone can tell me anything to make me change my mind. When I have something set, nothing can move it. Yet after my near death experiances, I became a little more sensitive to what might happen to me in the near future if I didn't change my ways and what frightend me the most is that I wouldn't end up with the people I loved. I had an epiphany that night and ever sence I've been changed. For the better? Lets hope so."

That's interesting, a near death experince. That must be wierd in a way. I'm sure God have something planned for you. Whatever it is, he will guide you through it all during the changes.

"He better, after what I went through that night. I've never felt like that before. So afraid, so vulnurable. I awaly thought I would have cried when I would die. I thought I was dieing, no positivities of life flickered in my mind, just death. No tears."

I felt like saying when we die, there's nothing to be scared of. We will reunite with our Father in heaven. You did not die because God has planned something for you on earth, He would want you to bring many people to Him. The thing is we won't face death twice because we are saved. We are resurrected once we believe in Jesus. You are not vulnerable when you trust in Him.

I have evangelized to few Muslim, Buddhist and Atheist friends of mine but they were really stubborn but I'm sure God has planted a seed in their heart. I went to an evangelist class type thing and the speaker said that a person who has never heard the good news or anything about Jesus (and this was a scientific test) needs to here it 6.7 times before taking it into deep thought. and the times that you planted the seeds could have started the prosses. and he also said that you may not see the outcome of the sowing of the seed. smile I have evangelized to a few people on gaia. I've found that it's kind of easier to evangelize on gaia than in person. Because I can't see there reaction.I can't see them. smile I've helped save 2 people on gaia. smile as far as I know. One even thanked me and told me that because of me and some more people, she got saved and has been taking her family to church. and one of her family members got saved I think. God is good isn't He? biggrin

That's awesome! I sometimes doubted that Gaia could be a key place fo evangelism. Now that you said it I'm more encouraged to do so. Jesus can do all things, even in the lease likely places. Yeah I'll go for it. Sometimes it's hard to tell whether that person really meant what they are saying, that's what I'm worried about.

"Well, to be honest, I was upset because I new I would never see my familiy again because I would go to hell. I'm not the most religous or proper person in the world, and I'm also recruiting for the army reserve. I guess that's how I'm sending people to heaven. I'm a terrible being. I grieve for all those whom assotiate with me. Although I am a good person witha strong heart. My past and future are darker than any demonic dwelling."
