I discided to try this forum for ranters the ones who go on about if somthing is wrong or flawed Like predjudce or Religion I dont want to see arguing just chatting this thread is not to insult its to talk and disscuss
this is not inteanded to be a 'bashing' forum.

This rant is made in response to every Master/slave thread I've ever seen in the Chatterbox...

These threads are everywhere. You see them, and you either click on them or scroll past to find something intellectual - Good luck with that, by the way - and you never wonder what makes them so alluring.

It's because these people have no idea what the roles of Master/slave or Top/bottom or Seme/uke whatever are. There are three types of Masters:

Dominar/trixes: These are the real Masters, or the ones in training. The ones who command and lead their slaves without hesitation or mercy, simply because they can. They hold dominion over their homes and lives, and are in complete control. They know exactly what they want and how to get it without pain of degradation on their part. Many of them even lived as slaves once, learning the intimacies of domination through words, actions, love and hate. They are true artists of their trade. They do not use dominion simply for sex, they use it in everyday life.

Pretenders: These are the ones who tie down their significant others with fuzzy, cheap handcuffs and once in a blue moon sport something dark or seductive that they got in a discount shop. They use ropes from Home Depot, and more often than not end up insulting their significant others when they say something along the lines of "On your knees, b***h." These people only see Mastery as a plaything, an idea that might be fun in the sack. They are completely clueless to or disgusted by Dominion's true form.

Breakers: These beings are rather dangerous. They lure in the unsuspecting bottom and destroy them either mentally or physically, leaving the victim party a shattered mess either mentally scarred for life and never going back or physically/psychologically addicted to their breaker and needing more, despite the toll it may take on their lives. They either learned this on their own or conditioned themselves to be indifferent and indisriminate, as well as unfeeling and desensitized.

Slaves come in three equally distinct varieties, each mimicking or mirroring their Master counterpart.

The Owned: These are the counterparts to Dominar/atrix Masters. They completely and utterly devote themselves to a Master, who they may or may not be in love with. Even if they love the Master and the Master does not return the love, they remain loyal and dependent on the Master on the deepest of levels. They are not addicted, they are not blackmailed to coerced into staying - they simply do. They are also either conditioned for a long time or trained and rewarded or punished as their Masters see fit, and during this time both parties form a deep bond only understood between them.

Vanillas: The ones who are slaves only when its kinky in the bedroom. They might own a bellydancer outfit or some $3 cuffs purchased from a Halloween store, but for the most part they believe in teir independance and can and will hurt/break up with a lover who "takes things too far." They think that people who are true slaves need to get a life or help, and do not take the time to consider bonds made in the training process. These people also think that all forms of slavery ended in the Civil War or only exist in sweatshops.

The Broken: These are the ones whose lives have been shattered and they are slaves to their Breakers because of mental breakdown, drug use, physical addiction to pain, psychological addiction to being hurt, or any combination thereof. They are shattered human beings, but are equally as dangerous as their Breakers, for they may lure in someone else to give them their fix of damage.

Now that you're all educated, this rant is to go on thusly: Most of these threads you see in the Chatterbox are Pretender/Vanilla players or are attention whores who would freak out at the slightest hints of being "abused." They also think that BDSM only includes kinky outfits and rope or cuffs. There's all sorts of things - whips, paddles, cat-o-ninetails, chains, cuffs, racks, wax, needles, clamps, knives, forks, spoons - truly, there is no defined set of tools used in such games - when gamesare played. The true Masters and slaves live their lives in their roles, never leaving them to bedroom romps. Some Masters don't even engage in sexual activity with a slave - sometimes just the power is more than enough to sate them. And being controlled can be all a bottom needs.


Now don't look at me like that.

*disappointed nod* It's really sad. They need attention that badly that they'd submit themselves to a bothersome fest of *whips u, tee hee* when they could possibly end up one of the Broken.

It's hideous. *shudders*

I suppose I'm a strange case...I'm a true slave to both my Master and to music. Yet, anyone else who tries to dominate me or use something to control me is in for a bad day-possibly a one way trip to hell. I have certain people/things that I depend on and need to be controlled by; and aside from those people/things I'm entirely independant.

it's a little of both, he allows me to be independant, and we also trust each other enough for me to be as independant as I am without it hurting our relationship. Actually, it was my independant nature and uniqueness that drew him to me in the first place. I have a feeling there's a few things he'd like to see change, but he's very happy with my attitude at this point. When we hooked up about 7 months ago I was new to the Master/slave thing and honestly had never trusted anyone or anything 'cept myself and music. I've even amazed myself with the progress I've made since we've been together. I still don't have a collar or tattoo or anything that marks me as his, so I guess technically speaking I'm still free...but I'm completely faithful to him and as good a slave as I can possibly be at this point all the same.

Yes!!! That's exactly what I've been complaining about for so long!! I'm so glad there's someone who agrees with me!! biggrin
