I hate Hackers. I have seen many hacks in starcraft, and just simple hacks like... people viewing the entire map. The craziest hack I've seen was a rush of about 20 SCV's that had a ranged attack. HOW THE HELL DID THEY DO THAT? It was within 5 minutes of the game too.
Have you guys experienced any hacks?

well the most obvious is map hack, it screws my plans all the time. and the worst part is that the hackers think their so smart, when all they have to do is download it and turn it on, woopdy doo. i havn't seen any crazy hacks like the on u just mentioned. another thing that bugs me is the whole winbotting thing, the ladder is so unfair becuase of it. in fact no one plays ladder games because of how pointless it is due to winbots.

Winbots...I used one years ago to add about 50 wins onto my record. They aren't ladder wins though. I don't play ladder because the stars look cooler than numbers.
Aw man, I still remember that morph hack that caused probes to morph into mutalisks. I stayed away from melee during that time. And I was a victim of a mineral hack. That was awful. My friend, on the other hand, lost to a map rigger, rather than a hacker. The guy had stacked minerals and 3 vespene geysers in his base.

Ahaha the morph hack!
That happened to my friend.
He was rushing the guy, when all of a sudden his probes turned into mutalisks and went to go kill his base.
He saved the replay, but it doesn't keep the hack.

I think I might have encountered that one. Just a few minutes into the game I was attacked by nomerous mutalisks from a protoss player. There is no way you can mindcontrol that many mutalisks or mind control a drone and get everything to get that army in that amount of time.

You probably won't be able to mind control that many mutalisks in a TvP game.

i fell victim to a stacking hack once. i was going to rush the guy and i got a big surprise. he wiped out my guys then went to attack my base with his units. i died.
P.S: how do u enter ladder games?

They canceled ladder games recently because people were taking advantage of them with hacks and also, no one ever played them! gonk They united them with the World Gamin Tour to enspire more competetive gameplay. I suspect that they will monitor the games when they are being held so that if there are hackers, they will ban them immediatly upon finding them using them during gameplay. 3nodding That is my idea, though. sweatdrop They made it so that you have to register to play them and they will tell you when and where they will be played. 3nodding
Recently, I fell victim to the unit annihilation hack as well. sweatdrop Also, I was victim to the drop hack. I watched as my teammate dropped every one, one-by-one. sweatdrop

Dang. sweatdrop Well, I guess that people are just in a rush to cheat and prove that they have mad hacking skills. stare
You know, these people prove nothing besides the fact that they truly can'y win without cheating. rolleyes I just minimize SC and then end the program. It counts as a disconnect instead of a loss. That way, they don't get the benefit of a false win. 3nodding

DCing isn't too good though. I'm experimenting with the PGT server right now. It seems pretty hack-free.
