Somewhere on the outskirts of the forest if one listened closely they could hear the sounds of battle day in and day out. Most figured it was a personal feud and promptly turned the other way so as not to end up in the middle of it all.
What they didn't know was that it was all just one Soquili. A massive warhorse by the name of Caellach training to keep his muscle toned and his warrior instinct honed. He was always out there smashing his armored shoulders into dead trees felled by storms but still rooted enough to take the punishment his strict training regime required. He'd occasionally turn and buck his back legs out leaving deep gouges in the long dead bark from his sturdy hooves.
Today was a particularly brutal session and sweat slicked his flanks, his breath coming in pants, his face a mask of concentration.

Suddenly with a deafening crack the tree split in half and the big male just stopped for a second shocked before he grinned widely. That was a first and he was damned proud to have broken his "training dummy". "Ha! That's a first!" He said to no one in particular, just voicing his own glee.
