✦ Starhelm Roleplay Rules ✦
Guidelines for harmony, storycraft, and knightly respect.
Guidelines for harmony, storycraft, and knightly respect.
⚔────────────⚔
1. Respect the Story & Each Other
Treat fellow writers with courtesy. No harassment, no godmodding, no forcing actions.
2. Casual lit-minimum
Use complete sentences, basic grammar, and descriptive effort. Perfect for beginners, relaxed, and inviting.
3. No Godmodding or Powerplay
Your character cannot control, injure, or kill another without consent. Discuss major events with your roleplay partner(s).
4. Keep Characters Balanced
Strengths and weaknesses should both exist. No invincible heroes or unstoppable villains.
5. Stay In-World
Keep dialogue, actions, and items appropriate to the Starhelm setting (fantasy, knightly, cosmic). i.e. electricity, fire heating, plumbing are installed, but there is no digital technology. This is a medieval fantasy setting.
6. Post Order & Patience
Follow the posting order when in group scenes. Allow time for replies. If you must ping your partner, please only do so once. Respect pace, and keep communication up for needed breaks.
7. Mature Themes with Care
Violence and darker tones allowed, but caution using intense graphical scenes both violence or intimacy. Please discuss these tones with your roleplay partner.
8. Communicate Plot Changes
If you plan a twist, injury, or major event, check in with involved players first.
9. Discuss quitting any projects, before ghosting
Its understandable some settings, or stories can be outgrown or have a block. Please discuss any quitting of any project, or the need to create a new roleplay etc. Communication is loved.
10. Have Fun & Build Together
This world grows through collaboration. Bring ideas, energy, and creativity-most importantly memories!
