Being brought in by your superior was a scary thing indeed, especially when said person was smaller than you, yet carried themselves with so much power that it could suffocate the room. By the time Beni was done [he did not raise his voice or use any intimidation tactic, he was nothing but calm, clear, and concise], Pezz understood that fraternizing with the enemy, especially without the intent to gather energy or a starseed, would end in punishment. To make up for her mistake, she doubled her efforts to collect energy, take starseeds and trap others with youma.
Any order signature was in danger of being put on her list.
So when she felt the signature of a basic senshi nearby in the forest, the officer wasted no time, taking out her weapon and teleporting to the signature so she could crack their skull open. She did not want her loyalty questioned EVER again.

“Well, hey there, Cinderella! Ready to get your dance on?” He waved as soon as he saw her, even with his arm still in a cast.
The way he looked at her, the eyes that drifted up and down her and took her in, faltered only when he noticed the look on her face. “Oh… are we serious tonight? I Didn’t even get to take you to dinner first.”
He backed up a step, reluctant to throw down, hopeful that he could talk her down from the edge like last time when he’d gone and healed her.
Then again, unlike her, and unknown to him, he didn’t have anyone to scold him for what he did, not really. He could politely tell them all to ******** off back to whatever else they had to do. She couldn’t.
“Talk to me, tell me what happened?” He said, readying himself to be on the defence.
========================================================================
Oh just ******** great. The reason she was in trouble in the first place.
As much as she wanted to just talk, Pez had a duty to her General and the negaverse. Which is why even though she blushed at what he said, the captain shook her head. “There is nothing to talk about…” there was a hint of remorse in her tone, even as she teleported and aimed for a swing to his side that did not have the sling on it, deadly intent radiating off of her in waves.
========================================================================
Well, at least she hadn't aimed for his bad arm.
Down side was he hadn't expected her to go for the ribs. He exhaled on impact to try and lessen the blow, but she was stronger than him and faster too. Saying it was going to bruise was putting it kindly.
He'd cracked ribs before but- not with a candlestick. “Oh ******** me sideways! At least set a safe word!”
======================================================================
A safeword!?
That almost got the captain to freeze, but she shook her head and tossed her weapon into subspace, raising her leg up high with the intent to slam her heel down on his uninjured arm to disable him. If she could do it quick enough, then she could have the option to steal his starseed, something that made her frown, or drain him of energy till he passed out. The latter seemed more…Appropriate to her. “J-Just shut up and give up!”
If her leg didn't work then she would start using her fists.
============================================================================================================================================
“Thats gonna depend on what you want me to give up for. I'll give up and do a lot of things if you ask nicely. But I've promised not to go dying anytime soon. Trust me, I am not finding out if you can haunt a ghost but knowing my sister she’d find a way.”
He barely managed to dodge her assault on his knee, the last thing he needed was to be unable to walk this off. He tried catching her in a hold, hell… an embrace if that's what you wanted to call it. Something to pin as much of her as he could.
======================================================================
He never shuts. Up!
It would be sooooo much easier for her to focus on the task at hand, IF he would just be quiet for once. He managed to dodge her foot, which caused her to hold back a scream of frustration and round about to use her fists. But then he just grabbed her and did….Nothing. “Let me go you a*****e!” She did struggle, wriggle, growl, and even bared her teeth up at him in order to make him ease his hold. “Let go let go let go LET GO!” If Beni found out about this…Oh god she didn't want to know what the punishment would be! Eventually, Pezz started to calm a little. She was still ready to go with killing intent but…No one said senshi were…human too. She was terrified and didn't know what to do without her two best friends…
Dem was no help.
Wither was retired.
Villon was out of commission for a bit, and everyone else was so busy with their lives, while she just…What? Existed? Tried to make the best out of a situation? “Y-You can let go now…” as if she noticed the close proximity, the heat coming from her opponent as well as his heartbeat, Pezz started her struggles again with the deepest blush ever. “I-I'll drain you dry and leave you for dead…”
======================================================================
“There you go. It’s alright.” He breathed in through the ache in his ribs and slowly started to release the pressure of his hold, not completely, but enough that she could move more.
“Better?” He asked, leaning back slightly to peer down his nose through the blue-tinted lenses of his glasses at her.
“If you want to keep punching, we can do that, just maybe less with the candlestick. Apparently even I have my limits.” He grinned.
“Kiss and make up?”
=========================================================================
Was he even listening?!
What was she?! A child?!
“I---” Instead, Pez closed her mouth, glaring at his chest instead, “I don't want to punch anymore. J-Just let go okay? I'm not a child.” At least no one could tell on her for making nice with the enemy. But if they caught this?! The hugging? That would be grounds for something nasty as punishment, and she's heard rumors of what the negaverse can do in terms of insubordination. “N-No I don't want to kiss and make up ********….”
======================================================================
“You sure? Offer’s on the table.” He teased. “If you’re a good girl and all that.” He teased, squeezing her just a bit more so she didn’t immediately get to go for her candlestick for the words.
“So, talk to me, what happened between last time and tonight? Did you land in hot water? Cause we don’t want that.”
“Don’t make me take you for ice cream; I know a late-night stand… not the best but they do cater to drunks and stoners.”
========================================================================
“No, I don't want to kiss…You p-probably don't know what you're doing anyway…” Then he called her a good girl…N-Nooooooope nope nope nope nope NOPE! “D-Don't Y-You EVER call m-me that again!” The blush was real, and she looked away with a sneer. Instead of answering, Pez looked away. “It's none of your business….I don't want ice cream.”
========================================================================
“I like the blush though.” He grinned. “Do you have a preference on what you’d like called? Princess maybe? Fits with Cinderella… Hmm, yeah, You’re doing so well, Princess! We don’t have to talk, but I’d love it if you calmed down.”
He looked thoughtful and then added. “You prefer tacos?” He added with a grin.
=========================================================================
“W-What!? N-No!” Her blush was as deep as it could get at this point. “I am calm….You can let go.” She tried getting out of his hold, then sighed. “I'm not hungry …” she just wanted…something, but not to fight anymore. “I don't know what to do…”
=========================================================================
“Alright Princess, alright….” He let her go gently, letting her stay as close as she wanted, or needed.
“Talk to me then… what’s the worst I can do? Give bad advice?”
He gently brushed her cheek with a knuckle.
“Come on, have a seat and lean on me.”
=========================================================================
“D-Don't call me that!”
She kept a distance that wasn't too far, almost leaning into the gentle touch before she thought better and quickly moved away. She didn't want to talk, she just wanted to…What!? Chill? Fight? Dance!? Sitting next to the senshi absentmindedly, there was one thing she could think of to maybe distract him from her problems…
Once they sat down on the bench, she did the one thing that came to mind, climbing into his lap and planting her lips onto his.
That should work right?
=========================================================================
He started slightly when she climbed on him, froze for a moment when she kissed him, but soon his hands found their way to her back, to her waist, and he responded to the kiss in kind. A careful, exploratory kiss that asked for permission in silence, much like the careful touch of his hands.
The thought that they were both going to be in so much trouble flickered through the back of his mind, but like the knowledge that he should quit smoking, he pushed it down and away.
=========================================================================
Okay…Distraction was…Totally looking like not a distraction.
While Pez could appreciate the fact that Vulpe was being careful, the kiss shouldn't have lasted no more than a second
…
Right?
She did open her mouth with a small whimper to allow for exploration, almost ready to just say ******** it to the scolding Beni gave her not too long ago. But then, she paused, and leaped off of the senshi’s lap like he had burned her. Frowning while keeping her arms wrapped around herself, Pez backed away and teleported without a single word. That…That was a mistake and it was dangerous, something that shouldn't and WONT be repeated again.
