ꉓꃅꍏꉣ꓄ꍟꋪ ꂦꈤꍟ - 𝒜 𝐿𝒶𝓈𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝐸𝒸𝒽𝑜
A blue light echoed in the White Tower, and four souls entered the ruins.

Toumas Descartes
A tall elf with a brooding exterior.
Richard Tennebraum
A short human who lived on fear, and couldn't stand the dark.
Amelia Bowman
A graceful kitsune who had lived her whole life knowing she was beautiful.
Satiel Harrison
      The human who survived.

Together, they decided to make their way through the White Tower, and into the main city. But they were under the ground. In the basement of the White Tower.

Within the first few nights, they had discovered the rather dark secret of the crumbling city. The Shadows moved. The Dark was dangerous. They were only safe in the light. Only in the light made by artifacts.

Fire didn't stop the monsters.

A week in, they found the Journal.

Written in a trembling hand by someone they dubbed 'The Wanderer' She wrote to someone called 'Cass' in her journal, and documented some of the crumbling city in it's pages. She wrote about artifacts found. She wrote about monsters encountered. She wrote about safe havens, and their timelines for use.

Through the pages of this journal, they discovered a way to survive.

However, the end of the first month brought the first death to their party. Toumas was killed by falling out a window high in the White Tower. Finding their way to the top was treacherous. And the way was filled with creatures they could hardly face unarmed.

The end of the second month, they all had weapons.

Richard had a crossbow. He was an excellent shot. They always retrieved his bolts before they left a room.

Amelia had twin daggers. She wasn't sure where she had learned it, but she was fast, and good at striking low.

And Satiel found her katana. She took to it immediately. And she discovered that activating the marble on the end gave her endless strength, and an almost berserk style energy. The downside? She couldn't feel pain. She didn't realize she was injured until it wore off, and her companions would have to save her life.

The end of their fourth month together, Richard and Amelia were killed at the top of the White Tower. They had found the answer of what lay at the top. The answer: a horrible cold.

An Ice Witch that shattered both of Satiel's companions. She only survived by Amelia shoving her out the door and slamming it behind her.

Satiel went to the bottom of the tower and into the main ruins of the city.

Left alone, she decided to cross the White Tower of the map. The answers they had been looking for weren't there.

Only death lay there.

Chapter One ended four months into the journey.

The blue light echoed in the ruins, leaving behind three new souls.

Hitomi Novelle
      The fairy who became big.
Nerys Erchyllter
      The human alchemist who dreamed
Nahme Valentine
      The nordic swordswoman who waited.

Satiel followed the blue light and found them, dazed and confused. But Nahme had a sword. And Nerys came with potions. Both of which were helpful.

They survived together well for three months.

They established routines. Learned where to be safe in a dangerous city. Stocked up their sanctuaries with things they needed to survive. They always looked for exits. Any way to escape the hell they were trapped in.

However, a discovery was also made. Hitomi tried to fly out from the city to see if there was anything else out there. Ten feet out, she got dizzy. Fifteen feet out, she disappeared. They couldn't find their companion for a week. She had been transferred back into the city, but to a random location.

They couldn't leave the city through the gates.

They would have to find another way.

The blue light echoed in the ruins, leaving behind one new soul.

Satiel took her new companions to the blue light, hoping that there would be an exit.

Instead, it was another person.

Mercutio la Diavolos
A human CEO with a dark history.

He was a fighter. His fists were his weapons. With him, Satiel, and Nahme, they had a chance of surviving the night much easier.

Four months more passed in survival.

Many locations were discovered. New monsters figured out. New artifacts uncovered. But still, no way out was found.

Then, the worst happened. The group was separated by a Firestorm.

Satiel and Mercutio on one side. Nerys, Hitomi, and Nahme on the other.

They vow to meet up in the church ruins. However, when Satiel arrives, they are nowhere to be found. A week passes, and they go out to search for their lost companions.

Along the way, Mercutio is killed in a battle with a group of Shadowwalkers. Satiel has to take shelter in a building and wait for safety to arrive.

She buries Mercutio.

She cannot find the trio who are missing.

They seem to be gone.

Once more, Satiel is alone.

Chapter Two ends almost one year into the journey.
