Falling in Love: While Lavender is very happily in love in with her hubby, the feeling of falling for someone or something is she seeks out in every corner of her life. It makes her curious and sometimes even briefly obsessive with a new person, a new culture, a new food, a new place. And soon enough is looking to fall in love again!
Reading: You can't be a good writer without being a good reader, at least Lavender firmly believes so! She likes a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction genres, but if it's not a romance, she'll find a way to make it one. In her heart, and maybe in some very niche fanfiction on the side.
Virtues:
Curious Lovie is interested in the world around her, from conversations with strangers, to the new shop a block over, to the political history of the Baltics. It makes her an enthusiastic listener and fairly good conversationalist. Not to mention it's a nice passive bonus for her writing that her pool of fans appreciate.
Open: Praise is never withheld, interest won't be aloof, and secrets are a rare existence for Lovie. She proudly wears her heart on her sleeve, especially with those she's close to and knows won't be put off by all her everything. If she's happy, sad, angry, she'll let you know and why.
Flaws:
Tantums: When Lovie gets upset she turns into a five year old in want of a candy bar (and a timeout). In private or in public, it all comes out big, loud, and like a storm. Thankfully she gets over things nearly as soon as she gets it out of her system.
Rose-colored glasses: Lavender likes to see things and people as their best, kindest, and most beautiful possibility. Even if there's a lot of bad, mean, and ugly reality trying to block her view! Her desire to see the world and people in it as wonderful can get to the point of willful self delusion.
