Angel sat on his couch, staring blankly at his empty canvas. Aria was a knight. A freaking knight. And to top it off? An Ida knight, like Florian and himself. Wrapping his head around it was still a monumental task but he knew that it now meant he had to get genuinely serious about this. He had already been more active, taking more initiative as Kaisariani, but now that his baby sister was involved in this nightmare, he needed to catch up. He needed to get stronger. He needed to be able to be there if she found herself in trouble. This was a nightmare. This was truly, absolutely, undoubtedly his worst nightmare. But he would figure it out.

Sighing, Angel ran a hand through his hair before rubbing at his face with both hands. When all else failed him, art had always managed to help him muddle through his feelings and thoughts, so he may as well stop feeling sorry for himself and get to work. Grabbing a palette, he contemplated for a moment before setting it back down in favor of something his sister had given him ages ago. He had never wanted to bother with it before but something about it felt right for what he had in mind. Popping open the lid, the set of shimmering watercolors sparkled up at him and he started doing test squares on a spare sheet of paper. Once he was satisfied with the color combinations, he got to work on the canvas.

Shimmering lavenders and pinks were accented by deep violet and royal purple. Daphni stood proudly, staring out of the painting as if challenging whoever looked at her. Chewing on the end of his brush, Angel seemed thoughtful. Something was missing, somehow. Thinking for a moment longer, he grinned and did a few more test squares on the scrap page before going back to work. Slowly but surely, another figure started coming to life on the page. Another figure clad in purple and orchids with long pink hair stood beside Daphni, though they had a far softer look. Schwetzingen looked soft yet strong as Angel took just a little bit of extra time and care with painting him. He couldn't help it as he added a few extra flourishes and shimmers to where Schwetzingen was painted, always wanting to accentuate just how pretty he was.

Sitting back to look at it, he smiled and took a fast photo, then grinned as another idea came to mind. Grabbing his brush again, he started adding one final figure. More green and brown than purple with a cocky smirk and short dark hair, standing on the other side of Daphni, Kaisariani was carefully added. It felt odd to paint himself, he thought. Most of his work admittedly was of Florian and Schwetzingen, and he genuinely could not recall the last time he had done any art of himself, either as Angel or Kaisariani. He almost had the urge to power up just to make sure he was illustrating his uniform correctly, but he decided to trust his own memory for now. If anythign wasn't right, he was sure Florian could let him know when he showed him the piece.

Setting the brush down, he looked at the trio on the canvas and smiled a little. It was odd, but somehow it was a calming comforting sight.
