Room 2: The Archives - Towering tapestries stretched from floor to ceiling, their threads impossibly vibrant despite their apparent age. Each depicted civilizations unlike any found on Earth. Some showed familiar constellations above unfamiliar landscapes; others portrayed cities suspended beneath oceans of stars, or kingdoms ruled beneath enormous crystal moons. No two scenes appeared to belong to the same world, yet together they felt like fragments of an impossibly vast shared history. Toward the back of the gallery, the mood shifted. The woven scenes became darker. Figures that appeared wholly ordinary slowly transformed from panel to panel into twisted, monstrous shapes beneath the shadow of an immense crowned being whose face had long since faded from the fabric. Nearby rested ceremonial masks, broken staffs, and a blackened crown from unknown worlds. None were labeled, and they seemed a little out of place despite being paired with the tapestry. Whether they commemorated myth, history, or something in between was left entirely unanswered. One thing was certain: the universe has always had monsters. And someone had made them.
She had drifted in from the main hall after exploring the fossils. There hadn’t been anything notably helpful in that exhibit but this one was at least a bit more plausible. But she wasn’t holding her breath on that, especially since she noticed that it looked like a hall of tapestries. However she did quickly become absorbed in the vivid displays intricately woven. They were fascinating, if a bit dark towards the further panels. Add in the various masks, the staffs, and a blackened crown, and it was all a bit macabre. Something had happened. Some world had fallen, if the crown was any indication. Darkness was always there, lurking. Mara observed it all. Noting the monsters, and the destruction. The complete vibe changes from that at the front of the room to those at the back. The crystal moon’s woven in the first panels weren’t lost on her but rather than marvel over those idealized visuals, the corrupt senshi scrutinized the darker tapestries. Best to learn from the past then try to rebuild it after all.
She moved as quietly as she could but her heels still clicked softly. Could there be a hint hidden among the threads or in the strange trinkets displayed? Was there anything in this entire place that would help her? The dark haired woman absently wondered as she wandered. She had found herself in a tucked away spot, alone and with the tapestries surrounding her everything was a little muffled. It was as if she was all alone in this strange space museum. Alone, but no closer to an answer.
With a sigh, more disappointment than frustration, Mara turned to go. There were still a few more rooms that might hold the answers she was looking for. Besides, she needed to find Almadel. He had to have the answer to her problem. He just had to.
If he didn’t then she wasn’t sure what else she could do. No amount of training was fixing it and she couldn’t exactly tell her cousin what was going on, even though he knew. After all it would only hinder him more and he had enough to deal with. They all did. The person she would be most likely to turn to was being all mysterious and withdrawn as well so that was out… but Mara did make a mental note to actually make Abby talk to her. Something was going on with her younger cousin. Something with her and that man. It was suspicious as hell and Mara didn’t like it… she also didn’t trust Ben. Not that she would like anyone who was dating Abby, she was definitely too good for him.
Distracted, lost in her own thoughts about her family and her issues, Mara started to leave her little isolated corner only to nearly run into someone, just barely preventing a collision. “Apologies, I didn’t see you,” She quickly apologized, only noticing who she had nearly ran over after taking several steps back. It was Almadel, the very person she wanted to talk to given a more private moment such as this. “I was so absorbed in your exhibits I just wasn’t paying attention to my surroundings,” Mara smiled congenially, silently inviting the alien being to forgive her error.

The Space Cauldron
TL/DR: Mara nearly runs into Almadel in the 'darker' part of the space where everything is more about the monsters/darkness then the front of the room
