Quote: Skyfall (12) : Giant walls of clouds hover low above Destiny City, as if weighed down by the immense amount of water they are carrying. The air is cool, electric, and ominous, churning more like the ocean than the sky. And then, the clouds seem to collapse under their own weight. Dark masses spill from the sky in great, twisting columns of mist, stretching down towards the streets below. They descend like hands stretching from the heavens, enormous enough to swallow half a city block. Anyone caught within the descending clouds will find themselves surrounded by a frigid mist and powerful winds pushing down upon them. Visibility drops to almost nothing. The clouds spill over you, around you, like a waterfall, tugging at clothes and disrupting all sense of direction. Most people stumble out cold, soaked, and disoriented--and, sometimes, they don't even come out at the same place they went in. More than once, someone has disappeared in the cloud, only to wind up across town. Within minutes, the cloud pillars shrink, twisting like dying tornadoes, and drift back into the sky as though nothing happened at all. While Valielaera had been warned about the type of weather that happened on Earth, she had not been prepared for... whatever it is. Destiny City didn't get "tornadoes", from what she could remember being told, and clouds usually didn't just drop to the ground. She knew there were unexplained magical events that happened within the city and assumed it may have been one of those, still, as one dropped near her, she made sure to take cover underneath a covered alleyway in an attempt to get away from the... whatever it was. She still couldn't be sure if it was the unexplained magic or some sort of other magic so she made sure that her tazer was ready to shock anything that may have tried to attack her.

Bélénos had truly been having a good night for once. But every night started off well, didn't it? It usually did. Rarely did the night start off bad, and if it start off bad, she simply didn't go out as Bélénos in the first place. The clouds swelled above her and she immediately began looking around for a mirror she knew would be somewhat near her. She'd rather get home as fast as possible. Unfortunately for her, fate once again had other ideas. The horrible, awful clouds descended upon her once more, and she shouted in frustration as the wind buffeted her around, soaking her with rain. It blew her straight into someone, and then she shrieked as the taser the person had apparently been holding shocked her body, made worse by the wet, and she fell to the ground, shaking violently as the shockwaves pulsed through her.

The clouds had decided to start moving on their own, eventually culminating and falling to the ground, trapping Val and eventually she was hit in the side by a large, what felt like, organic object which threw both her and, most likely, the other person to the ground. The resulting collision had also made her let go of her taser, so wherever it was now, which could be yards away, was unknown to her. She could NOT lose that taser. She was only allowed one weapon and if anything happened to it, she had already failed their mission. And she had only just come to Earth! Eventually she felt the winds subside, her ears no long screeching, and she found herself looking at the side of a building while still on her side. She moved her head slowly to make sure that she had not hurt it or her neck in anyway and in so doing, noticed someone near her. And with her taser sticking out of them! Both good and bad things, but that meant that she had to get it back! She slowly pushed herself up, now feeling quite sore all over her body and crawled toward the other. "Let me get my taser out of you..."

The pain continued to course through her as the taser stayed stuck to her, and she was beginning to wish for death. It hurt so badly. Shortly after the clouds tornado'd themselves away, however, the source of the taser came over and pulled it from Belenos's body. Groaning with relief, her body mostly relaxed other than the aftershocks still coursing through her periodically. At least without the constant stimulation, they could start to wind down, though she probably would want to check herself at a hospital, just in case. That much electricity couldn't be good for a continued heart rhythm. "Holy s**t thank you that sucked," she said really fast, wincing as she rolled over on her back to stare up at the pale gray sky. "Oh, ********, that hurt. I hate those stupid storms."
