Eira is the only child of Gavin and Bronwen Davies, born at Swansea Bay University Hospital in Swansea, Wales. Her parents are Muggles and didn't know she was magical until her eleventh birthday when a man from Hogwarts arrived to discuss the magical school. Otherwise, she lived a relatively normal life, enjoying gardening with her mom and going on adventures in nature with her parents.

On the train to Hogwarts, Eira met a boy named Emrys Tewdwr and the two became fast friends. At school, she was sorted into Hufflepuff, while her new friend was sorted into Gryffindor. Despite being separated by house, the two stayed close friends and helped each other with their weak classes. While she tutored him in Herbology and Potions, he helped her with Defense and Charms. They were very close throughout all their years, and Emrys asked her to be his girlfriend in fourth year. They dated until sixth year, when Eira broke up with him because she was afraid he was distracting her from her N.E.W.T. level classes. However, she couldn't deal with being apart and got back together with him summer of seventh year. She managed to get N.E.W.T.s in eleven classes and graduated well recognized for her academics.

After graduating from Hogwarts, Eira moved into a flat in London with Emrys so that they could be close to each other, but still focus on their careers. She worked hard, switching departments a few times before settling on the maternity ward. It best focused on what she wanted to accomplish in the world. They both worked hard on their careers so she was surprised when Emrys wanted to take off time to go on vacation. It turned out to be a set up though and he proposed on the beach in France. Of course she said yes to her Prince Charming. They married the following year and bought a house in Cardiff, Wales, though they decided to wait on having children. Both of their careers were still developing, so they didn't want to impose on their responsibilities. However, their careers never really stopped blooming and eventually it became too late to have children. They had a tough discussion about that and decided to adopt.

It takes a lot to get Ophelia to open up. She frequently hides instead of joining conversations, or makes herself quiet during them. She’s wary of people and it shows in her interactions.

Ophelia is often nervous in her approach to new situations. It is difficult to convince her to join activities, especially when others are nearby. It can take a lot to help her overcome her worries.

Despite her worries, Ophelia has a really caring heart. She is nice to everyone and does what she can to help people. Usually her help is secret, but impactful, even if in small ways.

Even if Ophelia joins in with others for activities or conversation, it’s really easy to scare her off. Suddenly being pushed into the spotlight will always send her running. She tends to panic in such situations, and it’s easy to overwhelm her.

Ophelia was born to her mother, Celia, who was still fairly young. According to Celia, she was too young to waste her life on a child. She frequently left Ophelia alone so she could go out with friends or hang out at local bars. It didn’t take long for Ophelia to feel the disconnect that came from having to try and handle herself. She frequently got yelled at for making any sort of noise, especially when she would cry out in need. It often meant Ophelia had to be hungry until her mum remembered to feed her.

As soon as she was old enough, Ophelia was constantly left at daycare, usually picked up late or forgotten altogether. That caused the daycare to reach out for help. When they interrogated Celia, she admitted she didn’t know what to do with a baby, then said she didn’t want to continue raising Ophelia. It was later that day that Ophelia’s belongings were packed up, then she was brought to Wool’s Orphanage. She spent the first several days waiting patiently for her mum to come pick her up, but eventually, the little girl realized she wasn’t just getting picked up late this time. Now she waits for someone else to show her any modicum of love.

The next summer, Phia made friends with some grown-ups. Even through they were... well, grown-ups, they were pretty nice. One day before Christmas time, those very same grown ups offered to adopt Ophelia, plus a really nice big-kid named Lynx. That was probably the coolest gift ever! Who else got a whole new family for Christmas?
