Backdated to February 9th

Solaris bounced foot to foot, eyes on her phone and some of the photos she'd recently been taking of the ship. Areas she'd tried patching herself, spots Realta had aided in mending, photos of electrical components and wiring with notes digitally added in with the Mauvian's suggestions or some such for how to replace or fix pieces.

The Mauvian in question was in a happy, comfy loaf on the park bench that was their usual meeting spot, curled up under a fuzzy-lined and edged cloak fit for the large feline who wasn't especially happy with the cold. A minimal gift of thanks for her agreeing to obscure Solaris' energy signature in her frequent trips to this same meeting spot numerous times as of late. A pattern that made Kyrie wary to leave entirely out in the open--she'd had no dealings with the Negaverse since the Herald of the Dark Star, sure, but she'd rather keep it that way. Less chance of accidentally dragging her very needed, very appreciated volunteers for her project, into unnecessary trouble or worse.

The yellow light of the lamp above the bench did little to push back the chill in the air, but Solaris felt comfortable enough in her uniform. Another hint of a breeze filtered through, rustling bushes and bare tree branches alike all around them, and she glanced to the cat carefully to judge if the cloak wasn't holding up. Realta's ears were perked up and alert, if flicking back slightly in general annoyance. But she didn't look chilly…

"I'll need to get you one with a hood next time," she said lightly to the Mauvian, who in turn gave a small laugh.

"Please do. Keep it as fluffy as the rest of it," she added with a delighted hum, nuzzling her face down into the fuzzy trim that fluffed up about her neck and head. "The closer I look like a poofball, the better."

Solaris herself gave a small snort of a laugh, about to give additional commentary when the Mauvian's head perked up and her attention was drawn elsewhere. The senshi in turn went quiet, peering about to try and determine if it was a random passerby, some critter that caught the cat's attention, or her guest.

Vyn was displeased—a mood he had fallen victim to quite often as of late, but this night found him slightly more discontent than usual. He made his way to the rendezvous point with more reservations than assurances.

Assisting the White Moon was occasionally necessary but rarely without tension on Vyn’s part. Too many still bore a grudge against the Vanguard for the Commodore’s betrayal on the hilltop. Just as many distrusted their less-than-ideal alliance with the Negaverse. None of them had done a single thing to make up for the deaths their own had caused. Some probably thought them justified. Vyn would not soon forget the smug look on the face of the Knight who’d murdered Commander Cydfae.

That the Senshi he was to meet tonight was one of the off-world variety was only a small comfort. Perhaps, like Surtur, she would bear him no ill will for the circumstances here on Earth. The Commodore didn’t seem leery of her, but he had always been able to keep his composure better than Vyn.

Vyn arrived without his human disguise but also without his uniform. He wore dark cargo joggers and a pale blue hoodie, with running shoes instead of his boots. His overgrown hair had been pulled into a short, messy tail, shoved through the loop at the back of a plain ballcap. Several earrings glimmered from each pointed ear—small metal hoops and jeweled studs, and the single dangling green stone gifted to him by Surtur.

He wasn’t able to remove the frown from his face, but Vyn hoped the expression seemed more curious than aggressive.

At the moment, he had no need for aggression.

“I am Vyn,” he said, though he thought there might be no need. Still, it was typically polite to introduce oneself even when one’s presence was expected. “You must be Solaris, and…” He eyed the Mauvian with even more distrust than he’d eyed the Senshi. “I’m sorry. I don’t believe I know your name.”

Seemed the Vanguard came in as many varieties as any other people she'd met--the lack of uniform intrigued her, and certainly gave her a level of envy. Though she was more than comfortable enough going around as just Kyrie if she could, she was too aware of potential threats to others, plus in this instance some logistical issues. Still. She sort of wished she could show up as just herself in moments like this, not just the Guardian of Solaris.

The senshi's grin was easy as she straightened and offered a light wave as he approached, nodding to the introductions. Realta herself sat up comfortably and didn't bat a lash to the less than jovial expression on the young man. She was… aware of the history in place, having been at the hilltop, though she did not carry ill-will. She also was there when an agent shattered a Cadet's starseed. She wasn't going to pretend she knew enough of circumstances to pass any form of judgement. So, she offered a warm smile instead, inclining her head in simple greeting. "That's quite alright. I'm only here to help with energy suppression for the moment. I'll not be joining you on your trip, unfortunately," she explained, nodding towards the Eternal. "I am Realta, I'm happy to make your acquaintance, Vyn."

Solaris in turn flicked her gaze between the two but didn't pursue any questions. Not the place. Not the time. And he was offering assistance with her personally important project, so she wasn't about to start interrogations for her own side curiosities. Still, she felt the need to add more context. "Realta also helped me with the ship and the plans much as she could--was the one who helped me reach out to the Vanguard, actually. I'm grateful for any help, and that you're here," she finished to Vyn before flicking the screens on her phone towards the Home button.

Her expression was light, casual, as she held up her hand somewhat towards him. Not moving into personal space in the slightest until she knew it was alright. "Sorry--are you familiar with senshi teleportation to our worlds? I'll need to have physical contact with you, however is most comfortable for you." A blink, and she winced slightly, her hand returning to her side. "Ah, oops. I'm jumping around to things. Would you like to discuss things about the project here a bit, or would it be better to get to my world first?" Just because she was anxious to get moving didn't mean she wanted to be rude to her guest.
