Solaris shifted a bit from foot to foot, eyes flickering about the park. The chosen meeting spot for was the same simple park bench beneath a lamp she'd utilized a few times already for such things--the repetition wasn't the safest route, sure, even if it was the most straightforward and convenient. It at least wasn't every night she did this, and she took comfort in that. Plus? She'd gone the smart route and continued enlisting Realta to come wait with her and help smother her energy signature, least until her Velencian guest got there and they could head to her world.

The less attention any of her antics got when it involved other people, the better. She hadn't had any real dealings with the Negaverse since the Calamitous Hollow, but better to keep it that way.

Realta sat back on the bench, tail swaying leisurely over the edge as her ears flicked about. Something small squeaked in time with a rustle of leaves in some bushes nearby, drawing the feline's attention briefly. Solaris smothered a smile. Spring was in full bloom, and with it, all varieties of life were scurrying about.

She looked down to her phone briefly, checking the time and eyeing the Home app with a flutter tight in her chest. Excitement. Apprehension. Part of her was still bracing for everything to fall apart or something, brain trying to whirl and swirl over potential alternatives if this didn't work out to fix the ship. Despite all the clear progress towards this desired outcome, she knew that cynical, terrified voice still lingered in the back of her mind. Alastor's words nudged at her mind and she let out a heavy breath, trying to refocus on listening for footsteps or catching sight of movement. See what comes of this plan. Figure things out after if needed. Take each part one at a time. Reassess if things don't pan out. It will work out, one way or another.

Plus--she was excited to meet more of the Vanguard. So there was that huge bonus. Her mood brightened quite a bit as she refocused on that aspect.
