 This is a contest for one of the three cubs from the Dawnlands. Born to the parents Sukari and Theluji Nyeupe, who are apart of Kusasa's harem. Generally regarded by the pride as 'the pale harem', Kusasa, her warrior and her huntresses align with the idea that pale manes and coats may not be in fashion, but they are still remarkable and worthwhile members of the pride. Of the three cubs, two brothers have found their homes, while the eldest sister of the bunch still needs to find one! It is your mission, should you choose to accept it, to write a personality for this sister and tell us what you think she may be like! However - a twist in this contest: this cub's name has already been decide! Her mother is named for sugar and has taken a similar theme with her cubs. Her blue-eyed brother is Alasi (Swahili for honey) and her pink eyed brother is Maziwa (Swahili for milk.) What is this cub's name, that goes with sugar, milk and honey? Why it's Malai, of course! Meet the Family! Theluji was born with pale fur and skin that burned in the sunlight. As a result, he is often seen under the shade of trees and bushes in the hot sun, sleeping through the day, until the point where he can wake up dusk hits and spend the evening protecting the harem from nighttime predators. He is relentless in his protector role and in his love for his family. He is very fond of his children and will dote on them in his waking hours. His greatest skill is to remain asleep in the daytime, even when his children are crawling over him and tugging at his ears and tail!  Sukari is a kind and gentle soul, preferring to avoid violence or otherwise causing unnecessary harm. Diligent, but not always great at getting things right the first time as she can get easily distracted. As a mother she will love and dote protectively on her children. And will to the best of her ability teach them what they should know to grow up to be strong proud lions and lionesses through hard work and diligence.  Alasi (owned by I--LiveWire--I)  Maziwa (owned by belloblossom) Much like his father, Maziwa's eyes are sensitive to sunlight and so he's taken by his father's nocturnal sleeping patterns, waking under the softer moonlight. A bit of a trouble-maker, he enjoys wandering off. Fortunately his bright white pelt is easy to spot out in the dark and he never makes it far before his father, or one of the other huntresses scoops him up.

Cub's Name: Malai
Cub's Personality: What does cream do? It helps bind everything, makes things smoother and softens bitterness. Malai is very much the same - she is a bringer of joy and optimism. She adores her family and is often a buffer between rowdier personalities, especially her brothers. Malai always looks for and tries to bring out the good in those around her. Soft and a little naive, but who wouldn’t be surrounded by a loving harem and pride.
Plot Ideas: Trusting the wrong lion or following Maziwa into danger when he does manage to slip past their guardians.

Cub's Name: Malai
Cub's Personality:
Much like the cream in coffee, she adds a certain flavor to all life around her. From having the sweetness of her mama to having the relentless tendencies her father holds, Malai dreams of being a huntress when she grows up. To protect others with love is what she dreams of doing as well. One can be fierce and full of love, after all !
A curious little one as well. She wishes to explore anywhere and everywhere she can. Sometimes she can be seen trying to sneak off with her brother, Maziwa. It's all giggles and games to her to see if they get caught or not.
Overall she is so full of love she feels like she may burst with it all ! Simply do not get on her bad side though. That fierce protectiveness she holds onto is absolutely killer.
Plot Ideas: Potential drama where she gets hurt. (?)
Or just see where life and RP takes her ~ She wouldn't be against leaving Dawnlands if whoever she falls in love with wishes for her to do so. It wouldn't be her leaving out of malicious intent or hate, but rather to pursue her happiness and live her life as she sees fit. She'd still visit her beloved family!

You Shall Have This Personality!Username: S1lversong Cub's Name: Malai Cub's Personality: Those who first see Malai, with her pale coat and typical sweet expression for a cub might assume that she would be quiet and soft. Demure and mindful, even. However, this little one is actually quite the pawful! She is constantly into everything, following around anyone and everyone she pleases; getting into messes and trouble. Her parents might despair of ever keeping her pale coat clean, with the amount of dirt, mud, and who-knows-what-else that she finds to roll around in. Beneath all of these shenanigans is a desire that isn't even clear to Malai herself, as a cub. The desire to stand out, to be different. To not just be known as 'another member of the pale harem'. As a cub, this comes out as a rebellious, wild personality. But as she grows older, and knows her own mind more, Malai will strive to break away from her family and harem - to strike out on her own and become a Matron the pride will talk about for generations to come. How exactly she will do this remains to be seen. Not that she doesn't love her family - she absolutely does. And her intent with leaving is not to cut them out, or lose contact with them. But simply to make her own way in the world, and stand out from the crowd. Plot Ideas:
Partner(s) in crime - others to get into trouble with as a cub! Boys, tomboys, darker pelted cubs who don't mind getting dirty - but the dirt wouldn't show up as much on them as on her...
Rebellious teen phase - I would think as she gets bigger and stronger, she might rebel even more against her harem/parents 'sameness' - maybe even going so far as to run away for a bit. She'd eventually be brought back or find her way back, learning the lesson that she does love them all, and doesn't really want to break away entirely. This would help her solidify in her own mind what her true desire is.
A warrior of her own - This could be part of the adol plot as well - maybe she meets her eventual warrior during the time she's running wild. But in any case, she would eventually need to find her own warrior - to become the Matron of her own harem.
Stand out - Some sort of plot where she does something that is unexpected. Something that the pride will remember and talk about for quite a while. This could be something heroic, perhaps. Or creating a new tradition, etc. Willing to workshop this with others of course!

Cub's Name: Malai
Cub's Personality: Malai is kind, observant and quiet. Not an overly rowdy Cub, she knows some day she will grow to be a Matron one day, she may be good in nature but she has big aspirations to be a Matron too one day. She’s smart and inventive about how she goes about things. She is also somewhat a tattle tale on her brothers, as a Dawnlander she feels it’s her job to make sure her brothers are being good.
Not one to get into much trouble but also one wanting to learn. Always listening in on adult conversation even tho some words she doesn’t understand. Her little mind is hungry to know and the cults know so much!
However she can be a crybaby sometimes, just like any girl she has her days where she is moody.
Plot Ideas: none yet, however she won’t be leaving the Dawnlands Pride.
