The Caves (5) : To any explorers visiting the new Reservoir, they may find that just a bit away from the sandy water are a set of caves. Some of these connect back to the lake, but others rapidly plunge into darkness. It wouldn't be hard to get lost in here, but thankfully there are some very odd lights to help guide you out. If you turn off your light down some of these dark paths, you may find yourself surrounded by glowing pastel lights. A closer inspection reveals that you seem to be looking at some sort of glowing caterpillars. An internet search will reveal that Destiny City scientists have been researching the strange, unnamed creatures, but the articles are very limited. If you take them out of the cave they seem to shrivel up almost immediately. They're neat, but clearly meant to be stay in their natural habitat.
He couldn't quite remember what all happened during this time of year before he had purified but he knew it was magical shenanigans. And some of those bled into his new... well, possibly new civilian job as a Park Ranger. Which meant that tonight he was on cave duty meaning he was the one who had to check if there was anyone in the cave and if they were unable to get themselves out of it.
Since he was by himself for the night and had been told about the strange activity at the reservoir, he had decided to power up as Drombeg. His outfit would look strange, but someone would probably just thinking he was dressing up as a Knight for fun.
Luckily there hadn't been anyone who had managed to get super lost in the cave, though they did get word about strangely glowing caterpillars. Whether those were helping people get lost or get out he had no idea, but if science couldn't explain them, magic could.
He walked over to the edge of one of the caves and shouted "ANYONE IN HERE?"
