Equipment:
Weapons
    tab Daggers x3
Faith, Honour and Hope are Sabriel's trio of daggers. Faith and Honour were gifted to her by her adoptive brother on becoming a member of his family and officially joining the Megalith Assassins. Hope is the dagger held by the current leader of the organisation and was passed to her on her brother's death when she took his place at the helm.
All three daggers have a large ruby set into the top of their pommels.
They also strike a resemblance to the dagger shaped tattoo on the back of her neck.
    tab Tessen Fans:
Avalanche and Blizzard are Sabriel's pair of folding tessen fans. Made of fairy iron since she is allergic to normal iron, they have an eerie blue sheen that enhances the snowflakes that have been engraved into the guards and rods. Each fan has a sharpened border that acts as a knife when extended. Pulling on the blue tassels that hang from them, engages a mechanism that causes the rods to lengthen beyond the border of the fan making them a stabbing weapon instead.
    tab Fairy Darts:
Sabriel's fairy darts are itty bitty darts that she can either blow through a tube and at a target, or stabbed directly into them. They can be coated in various substances such as paralysing agents, hallucinogens or toxins.

Other
    tab Healers Kit
Sabriel's healers kit is a large leather satchel which contains everything she might need for healing a patient if she doesn't want to provide them with a full healing using her magic.
    tab Utility Belt
Sabriel's utility belt is a condensed version of her healers kit, carrying only the essentials. It also has a clips for her fans, pouches for currency, her fairy darts and a few other handy surprises should she need them.
It was spelled by her apprentice to carry more than it looks like it should, but it is still only the basics.

Abilities:
    tab Flight
As a fairy, flight comes naturally to Sabriel. She does need to engage her wings in order to utilise this ability though.
    tab Healing
Sabriel's powers as a healer far surpass any of her other abilities and skills. While she can engage in a full healing of a companion on-field, she isn't entirely vulnerable, but it's best she's not left unattended for her own safety.
    tab Small Magics
Her magic is usually more for display as she normally calls on it to create illusions, glamours and minor summonings or banishings (pulling an object to her or sending it away) resulting them sometimes being called "flashy" by some. She does have a repertoire of both offensive and defensive magics, but they aren't her forte compared to her Healing magics.

History:
Born to the King and Queen of the Fairies, Sabriel was kidnapped barely six months after her birth by rebels trying to bring the downfall of her family’s rule over their race. The kidnappers ended up transporting the baby princess to another world, but lost her in the process somehow. As a result, Sabriel was found by a hedge witch in the middle of no where who raised her in the arts of herbalism and healing. Over the years, Sabriel grew like an ordinary human child, with no sign of her fairy heritage other than her being incredibly small.

One night, when pulled away from the home with her master come adoptive mother by a band of men needing assistance, they were attacked and separated. Sabriel never saw her master again as she was sold by the men to a vampire coven as a slave. However, from there she was raised by the Coven Leader and his wife who recognised Sabriel’s potential to not be an ordinary mortal, especially due to the addictive nature of her blood. Living happily with the vampire coven, she eventually became their librarian and historian, even acting as a healer towards their slaves and the willing donors that also resided with them.

Forever followed by unfortunate events though, Sabriel eventually met the man who would soon become here adoptive brother, Omegana Megalith. This man and his assassin’s organisation had been hired by the leaders of her coven to protect them from vampire hunters who had been sniffing around. The Megalith were ultimately unable to save the majority of the coven members when they were eventually attacked, and Sabriel ended up losing a great number of her friends, including the coven leader and his wife.

As it later transpired, Omegan had made a deal with the leader of the vampire coven, ensuring that Sabriel was rescued safely. This was because the leader had heard the rumours of a lost fairy princess and started to assume the small young woman in his care might actually be her, even if she didn’t know it. The deal however resulted in Sabriel being taken back to the Megalith’s home base, where her relationship with many of the members was a rocky one at first. She even tried to leave the organisation a number of times in those early days, only be to dragged back by various members under the orders of Omegana.

Time and patience eventually won her over to their cause and Sabriel eventually entered their training program. It quickly became apparent that she was not designed for some of the more “hard-core” regimes many of the members followed, instead continuing to gravitate towards being a healer, though also adapting herself to a more stealthy approach than her now-peers. When she fully entered the Megalith, her brother awarded her, her first pair of daggers and announced that she would be assuming the last name Megalith because she was also becoming his adoptive sister.

For once, things were looking up for the small fairy, but working off the information the former vampire leader had provided him, Omegana started encouraging her to investigate her past. Begrudgingly, Sabriel conceded and started the process, discovering where she’d actually come from and her heritage. Trips back and forth between the Human Realms and the Fairy ones ensued, with another assassination attempt being made on her during this time. The attempt only saw Sabriel’s connections to both families grow stronger, especially those within the Megalith as she became their healer, librarian, historian and an advisor to her brother, alongside getting married to Drake even though her biological family advised her against it.

Eventually the good times started to come to an end, and those times started with Sabriel loosing the pregnancy she was carrying to Drake as she was unable to carry the children to term. This loss was compounded when Omegana was killed in action leaving his little sister as the heir to the now Megalith Corporation and his wife Maluna suddenly disappeared shortly after. Having to put aside her grief, she now had to put her trust in all the things she had learned, while venturing out into the field more often. These operations were still rare however, as she preferred to hide behind her desk doing paperwork and assigning other people jobs.

By now, her ageing had started to slow down, and she realised that it had been a long time since she’d looked any older than an early 20-something year old. This lack of ageing came with an occasional need for blood when she tired herself out. A quirk that she found amusing given her history as a slave within the vampire coven.

Beyond her life within the Megalith Assassins and the Fairy Realms, Sabriel found herself attached to a fighting establishment called The Arena of Fighters, where she became their on-call healer for many of their events and became one of their social fixtures. It was at the AoF that Sabriel first came into contact with a number of people who she would call life-long friends, such as the shifter fighter Ki and the King of Heaven Lucas. Connections that eventually saw her supporting the Kingdom of Heaven in many of its frays over the years.
Further to this she also did a stint at a magical academy where she ended up picking her first and only apprentice - Kora Stern - who would later become the Queen of Hell and mother to a trio of children that Sabriel not only saw as her nieces and nephews but often doted on like they were her own.

Still preferring to give life over taking it, when she isn’t being a desk-jockey, Sabriel is often a healer for hire and tries to avoid involving herself in conflicts where she has to fight.

Fighting Style:
Close quarters, using her fans like daggers.

Appearance:
Described by some as "doll-like," Sabriel is almost as tall as your average 10 year old when in her human form. Big blue eyes are set between slightly pointed elf ears and framed by waist-long black hair. Being a fairy of the moon she also sports a pale - but not pallid - complexion.
Her wings when she has them out are the shape of a Red Spotted Purple butterfly's but are black, white, blue and grey in colouration.

Her artwork will always be in my posts somewhere
