turned into a mouse. felt like this might be some sort of plague situation so i am monitoring her diligently but so far she just eats my candy and chews holes in my collars.

you gotta be careful about the whole falling out of the world thing. people are gonna think you're the one dying. gotta make a habit to keep both feet firmly planted on this planet as much as possible when you're potentially gallivanting off to other ones on a regular basis.

one of the advantages the other side has when making unethical child soldiers is that they start out by shoving a hand in your chest. kinda drives the point home.

sorry, none of this helpful. im sure she'll be fine - the novelty will wear off - she's got you and everyone around you holding her up - its the ones that wake up alone and dont know what to do and don't have anyone to tell that you have to worry about.

i'd be more worried about her flunking out of school than anything else but i think they don't actually fail kids anymore so she's probably fine there too. at least she's fifteen and not like ten

no problems there hoss, it's hard to be traumatized by what you can't remember
i can't tell her more than anyone else
tell her the truth
it hurts more than you can ever imagine anything could and the pain is the least bad part of it
and you feel yourself falling into the knowledge of every evil thing you'll ever do to save your own skin like it's a cliff and you've been pushed
and they'll hold you down and cajole and threaten and brainwash and torture you until you agree to do what they want and agree that it's for the best
and they'll take everything you ever loved and use it as a weapon against you
and there's no shame in running from something like that
