EARLY CHILDHOOD Emery was born just before his sister Emmeline, making him the eldest twin. Mom was a teacher while Dad was a police officer. His sister was the sweet angel child, while he was the one testing his parents' willpower. Even as a baby, he cried more, especially when he wasn't around his sister. As they grew, he learned not to be as codependent on his sister, though she was still his biggest friend. Not long after their 11th birthday, a surprise visitor came to deliver a most fun letter! Turns out he and Emmeline were special! Emery was on board fairly quickly, but his parents were a bit sceptical. A magical demonstration helped and a reassurance of their safety
