Odainsaker stretched as she was lounging on a park bench looking out towards the little pond. It was night so it was quite and not many creatures were out right now. Though there were the call of frogs and crickets as she sat and watched the stars dance when the water rippled.
She felt an aura nearby which had her curious but she was waiting to see if they'd come to visit her.

As ever, Kiringul's feet started leading him toward the Order signature he sensed without him fully realizing it. He was a bit preoccupied with thoughts of his home life—his daughter getting older, mostly. To think that he already had a teenager, and one that would soon be graduating from middle school and moving up to high school. By the time he came to, he spotted a familiar array of colors not too far off from the path he was on. He blinked in the other knight's direction a few times, and then raised a hand in greeting.
"Hey," he called as he closed the gap. "See anything interesting tonight?"

Odainsaker paused as she heard someone call out a greeting. There was a grin as she shrugged softly, "Hello, and not yet~!"
She responded as she seemed to think, "I was debating on going up to my wonder, it's feeling like a night to visit. But I didn't want to go alone." She admitted as she hummed softy.
Odain tilted her head as she thought, "Have you seen anything interesting tonight or have any thoughts on doing something interesting?"

Ah—a Wonder visit. The thought stopped him in his tracks, though he was already within conversing distance so that hopefully wasn't particularly noticeable. It'd been a long while since he'd visited his own, mostly because...well. It was dark, and because it was inside a mountain there wasn't exactly a light switch to flip. Hell, even if there was one he didn't have the faintest idea where he might even find it.
"Nothing interesting for me, either," he admitted with a little shake of his head. "Just wandering around, trying to, uh...contribute—yeah, I guess that's a good word for it—to all of this." He gestured to their uniforms and then the sky, as if to indicate the universe and the war and all of it. Truth be told, with as mild as his involvement was in all of it after all these years he doubted he'd made any kind of difference. There was a small part of him, though, that had started wanting to try.
His Wonder was probably a good place to start, but. Well.
"Not doing anything interesting, either, but I think a Wonder visit could count for that?" He extended a hand then. "Name's Kiringul, and I'm...not the most knowledgeable about any of this, but if you just wanted some company."

Odain gave a soft nod, "Yeah" She seemed to think as she thought about the whole thing, "Yeah I think contribute might be a good word."
There was a soft shrug before grinning when he said he nothing interesting going on either. "Oh awesome, I'm Odainsaker!"
After a moments thought, "Yeah jut some company would be awesome. My ancestor's there but there's still something to having actual people with you."
She snagged his hand and in a blink of the eye, they were on odainsaker at the landing spot. The weather was fairly nice with a soft breeze. It was one of the smallest islands they landed on too, "This is one of my favorite places since I've started coming here." She admitted.

"Good to meet you," he said, and before he could respond to anything else she had whisked them off to her Wonder, and when they landed his eyes widened slightly at his new surroundings. He took a few seconds to take it in before turning back to her, his expression significantly brighter than it had been just a few seconds earlier.
"I can see why with this kinda peace and quiet," he said, and then gestured for her to lead the way. "If mine was anything like this I'd probably feel kinda the same and visit more often. Right now it's just...dark. And there's no one there. What's your ancestor like? And..."
He looked around and, after seeing no one else, proceeded to ask, "Where are they?"

Odain seemed interested when Kiringul mentioned his wonder was dark. "Dark? Like constant night dark or worse?" The squire was curious as she lead the way away from the landing zone.
Crossing over the first bridge from the small floating island they landed on to a slightly larger island she paused, "Hmmm, Neona should be around here somewhere. She's usually not far when I show up. She's pretty cool, way more um.... proper? I think would be how I'd describe her."
Odain looked around curiously."I heard my name, darling~." Neona appeared and looked at Odain and the new visitor with interest. "Ah, I see you've brought a new friend." She stretched a bit, as she walked, "Anything in particular that you two are here to do tonight?" Odain paused and gave a chuckle, "Ah, so Kiringul this is Neona." She introduced her ancestor.
"We were just coming to explore." She said with a soft shrug, she didn't have a plan in mind really.

"The main place is inside the hollow of a mountain, so no windows," he explained as they went. He had no reservations about sharing with a fellow knight—there wasn't much to share, anyway. If anything, someone might have some idea how he could remedy it. "So it's big, and from what I could see the only entrance I've ever been able to get to is high up so I haven't wanted to risk a trek down with just a dinky flashlight."
The slightest hint of frustration came through as he said this, though thankfully the topic moved on to her missing ancestor before he thought he might need to apologize. "Cool, proper," he repeated. "Got it."
He was looking in another direction when a new voice chimed in, and he turned to face them.
"Nice to meet you," he said, offering Neona a raised hand in greeting before glancing first to Odain, and then again at their surroundings. "Yeah, exploring. Or maybe something equally as interesting and productive." And then he pointed, somewhat randomly, since the Wonder was entirely new to him. "What's over there?"

Odain seemed thoughtful and looked over to Nenoa. It sounded like Kiringul, when Kiringul asked what was over there her and Nenoa both looked.
"Oh it's the town, there's some homes, a bar and a rather fetching garden." Odain responded."The garden is lovely. It also seems that one of the rivers has returned as well darlings." Nenoa mentioned as she moved in the direction that Kiringul pointed. Odain paused when Nenoa mentioned that there was a new river returned. "What do you mean?" She asked curiously as she motioned for Kiringul to follow, "I don't think I've ever see a river return... I haven't seen a place for a river??"
Did she miss it?? "I suppose you're leading the way Nenoa?""Of course darlings, come along."

"A town?" he asked, looking between the two, each in turn as they spoke. He glanced at the town once or twice in between, his mind turning over the possibilities of what a town on a Cosmos wonder might look like. The one area on his own that he imagined was some kind of town or village was walled in and completely swallowed up by fog. For all he could tell it could have been a complete village, with houses and other such buildings, or it could just have been a gigantic empty plot of walled-in land.
"And a garden? And a river?" he went on as he followed behind them. "That came back? Where'd it go? And how'd it start coming back?"
He felt like a child asking after trivial things like they were the most amazing things, but he quite legitimately wanted to know. For one, because his own wonder was just so empty by comparison. Or at least, it seemed empty, abandoned, and lifeless. Visiting one where that wasn't the case, or at least where things were changing so it was no longer the case, naturally made him curious.

Odain nodded, "Yeah it's a small town since we're on a floating island -- well series of. There's a sparring area and a whole capital kind of..." She didn't really know how to explain the largest building of them except that.
"Yeah the garden is near Nenoa's old house." She said as they walked following Nenoa.
"But the river I'm not sure about, I'm sure there's some sort of mechanism that I didn't know about."Nenoa paused as she looked back at the pair, "To be fair, no one can explain magic, I assume." She hummed as she walked past her house into the flower garden, "It's just this way."
