Overlord -- Kepperante Silvers
Kepperante was made the day the original Earth was put into motion, and he was set in his role as overlord without question. He molded what he could with his limited understanding, then left the Gods to their game as he traveled the realms, learning about them. Returning many centuries later, he found the Earth made. The Gods thrust him into actual existence, and Kepperante traveled the world, wanting to learn of it. What he learned made him sad.
Going to the smallest of the regions, he rallied the people together, telling them of what he saw. Together, they made the Oracles and Ancients (the Architects). They placed people who fit the roles best and would do the job right in their place, and Kepperante watched over them, nurturing them in the right direction, teaching them to both rule with gentleness and with passion, as well as to fight for what they believed in.
Soon, he left them to their own devices, wandering the world. He found a war and meddled in it, fighting for the underdogs.
In that fight, he met a curious young lass named Serendipity Hitomi. She was unlearned, and didn't know what was going on. Inviting her to learn under him, he taught her to both use her sword as an artful weapon, and not just something to slash at an enemy. In the meantime, he fell in love.
Parting from her so he wasn't tempted to do something he shouldn't, Kepperante traveled the worlds again, learning what he could. Coming back, he found the young lass still alive, though it was centuries later. She was much more appealing then, and he found himself lingering. But she was in love with another. He felt safe. Staying close, but far enough away so his intentions would remain pure, he helped her in her fight against the Elysians. His own people!
Traveling back, he found the Architects corrupted with power. Fixing what he could, he found himself drawn closer and closer to Serendipity. Taking off to travel again, he left them to mend on their own, praying that his efforts would not be wasted.
Centuries later, he returns again, finding that Serendipity was missing. Following her trail, he found her eventually, but she was using a new name! Traveling under the name of Adonai, he stayed by her side again, but soon enough, she found him out. They got married, and had children together.
Children's names are Remiel Silvers, as well as Ryuujin Silvers.
After that, he wandered to his Oracles and Ancients again, not telling them of his children. In order to preserve their secret, he sacrificed himself.
He is still alive, but is powerless and in an animal form until he recovers.

Ancient of Day -- Terressia
Terressia was born in a small colony off planet. She was born blind, but had a second sight. She could see a person's aura, but nothing more than that. Leaving the colony, she made her way to the Earth, and found that seeing the aura was more of a gift than she thought. Meeting Kepperante on her twenty-first birthday, she asked for a cure for her eyes, and he asked that in return, she help him make the world as it should be.
Agreeing to it, he fixed her sight, then showed her the world as it was. Seeing the world as it was, she asked to be blind once more, and to have him wait on his gift until the world was what it should be. He agreed to that, and blinded her again, leaving her as she was.
Because of her position, she was placed with the Ancient of Night, as well as the Oracle of Time. She was to be the Ancient of Day. Unexpectedly, she fell in love with her opposite [Life Partner = Scott, Ancient of Night], and they together strove to lead the group while Kepperante was not around.
She now has power over the realm and magics of Daylight, and all that entails.

Ancient of Night -- Scott
Scott is a lower demon. Being born into the higher classes of demonic society, Kepperante found him and dragged him into the Ancients circle.
Put in the group with the Ancient of Day and the Oracle of Time, he just did his part, not really feeling a connection to either point in the circle for a long time.
He didn't really have much history as most of his life had been governed by demonic society. And he was just a lower demon, after all.
He fell in love with the Ancient of Day [Life partner = Terressia, Ancient of Day] and they are together now.

Oracle of Time -- Shantalee
Shantalee was a creation made by a Doctor Phillip de Luca. She gained her own sense of being by time she reached a few years old. As she didn't always look very human, she didn't often go out unless covered completely.
Kepperante found her in a junk yard, singing to the other machines there. None of them were listening, of course, but she was entertained all the same. Using his magics, he gave her powers so that she could control her appearance, and go out among other people.
Owing him a favor, she was more than happy to accept the calling of Oracle of Time when he asked her to, and has been doing it for centuries, watching people come and go. She loves people, and finds them fascinating.
Reigns over the area of Time, and all that it entails.

Ancient of Light -- Mascot
Mascot was born in a small town on the edge of Alrydia. But this was far after the race that had inhabited said country was destroyed. He grew up knowing something was wrong with the world, but knew he could do nothing about it. At the age of sixteen, he left and went into the world, traveling to a place called Ismerta.
He was only a blacksmith, but Kepperante saw something in the lad, and took him under his wing. Teaching him basic magics, he found that the boy had proficiency in light magic, and flourished when he was pitted against the things of darkness.
He asked Mascot to become the Ancient of Light, and the lad refused until five years later, when he saw that he could genuinely do good there.
Now, he lives to bring the world closer to perfection, knowing that he'll see it when it gets there. However, he is easily corrupted, since power wasn't natural to him.

Ancient of Dark -- Dierdre
Dierdre was raised next to Kepperante, as she was his creation. In the beginning of her life, she was only called 'Lady Shadow', but as time went on, she found that she was more and more of her own person.
She chose a name for herself, and informed Kepperante, and he agreed, then smiled and asked her to be the ancient of Dark. The group accepted her, not knowing that she was only a doll.
Opposite of Mascot, she often just creates troubles for him. His idea of a perfect world doesn't make sense to her.
Often, Kepperante has to intervene and keep them from destroying each other. She usually backs down quickly, biding her time.
She governs over the powers of Darkness and all that entails.

Oracle of Illusion -- the Rede
As a young child, the Rede was seen as an oddity. Since her people didn't believe in names, she was never named. Going out on her own at a young age, she learned all the magics she could, getting better and better at illusion.
Hired by people to assassinate Kepperante, she found herself face to face with the man and couldn't do it. Instead, she offered her services and loyalty. Taken aback, the man agrees, and trains her to become an Oracle.
She slips into the job easily, and remains a faithful assassin for the council. She is often seen at Kepperante's side, doing what he himself cannot. As she feels no emotion, she can do anything asked of her easily, and without remorse.

Ancient of Life -- Remiel
Born to Kepperante and Serendipity, he was raised in love. When he was asked to join the Architects, he was glad to. After all, he firmly believed that whatever world that his parents believed in had to be the right way.

Oracle of Beginnings -- Kent
Kent was born of Chaos. When Kepperante found him, he was playing as a trickster god in a new world. He was brought over to the Architects to become the Oracle of Beginnings, as he was very good at creating worlds of his own.
He was the start of them creating new worlds.

Ancient of Death -- Cordoroy
Cordy was an assassin. He had been brought up his whole life around death. No part of him wasn't touched by it. Made of shadows, the figure can barely hold himself together in reality.
He took over the position of Ancient of Death one day, and Kepperante didn't end up arguing the idea.
He ended up falling in love with Kami, and they have built a strange dark life together. [Life partner = Kami - Oracle of Endings]

Oracle of Endings -- Kami
Kami was born in a dying world. When she was young, Kepperante took her from the world and raised her alongside his children.
Once she was old enough, she became the Oracle of Endings to help support Cordoroy. [Life Partner = Cordoroy - Ancient of Death]

Oracle of Chaos -- Nurren Erchyllter
Nurren was born in a world of scientists. When Kepperante found him, he was ready to become a part of the Architects. Though his satisfaction with their mission was short-lived.
He ended up deciding that he would be a better Overlord. So he started a war and gathered up/created the Incarnations, as well as a monster to destroy everything and start over again. (( This guy is the source of 75% of our problems ))

Ancient of Peace -- Max
Max was born on one of the newer Earths. He spent most of his time being the sports kid. When Kepperante found him, he was mid-college, working on becoming a professional athlete, or if he couldn't do that, he wanted to be a world-renowned coach.
Kepperante, however, knew that his particular Earth was slated for destruction. But he really liked this kid's spirit and personality.
He brought him on board to try to temper Ryuujin's anger.
They ended up being barely friends. Ryuujin's anger was more important than friendship, however.

Oracle of Salvation -- Sevorthen
Sevorthen was born in the middle of England during the American Revolution. He aspired as a poet, and was turned into a vampire by Elliandra. Since then, he wandered the world, generally being an a*****e.
He was rather angry about being a vampire. It turned his own gift against him. He no longer had inspiration for poetry, as the world had been turned into a joke.
When he reached the present, he was turned back into a human, and has been learning to live again ever since, having the power to meld shadow to his command, but none of his other old traits.
Sevorthen is the only vampire Kepperante knows of who had been turned back to human.

Ancient of War -- Ryuujin
Born to Kepperante and Serendipity, he was raised with love. However, unlike his brother, he ended up having a darker feeling about the new worlds they created. He spent most of his time being angry, and making it everyone else's problem. Kepperante made him Ancient of War to give him something to focus on, rather than allow him free reign to torment others.

Ancient of Fire -- Kendra
Found in a small village on the coast of Ismerta, Kendra was just another fire user. But she was completely insane as well. She ended up destroying her village, only stopping when she reached the ocean, and fell asleep there.
Water, after all, calmed her spirit.
Kepperante saw something in her, and brought her onto the council, not knowing that she would turn the tide against him. She was the key to his very destruction.
She reigns over fire, and all that entails.

Ancient of Water -- Azrael
Azrael was a puzzle to Kepperante. He had found the young child in one of his realms, and then left a while later. Almost a thousand years later, he went back and found the child still in the same spot, living in the same area.
Taking him home, Kepperante studied him for a while, and found that the boy needed water to survive, and could use it as a magic that Nurrem had never seen before.
So the boy was placed as Ancient of Water, and would ultimately be the only one who could calm Kendra.

Ancient of Wind -- Entei
[Twin to Zagato - Ancient of Earth] The two were inseparable. Entei had the power of earth. He spent a long time communing with sylphs in the forest, and growing his plants in the quiet glades. He was perhaps the only one of the Architects to feel sorrow when Kepperante was taken from leadership.

Ancient of Earth -- Zagato
[Twin to Entei - Ancient of Wind] The two were inseparable. Zagato would protect Entei from anyone who threatened him. His power was wind, he was terribly good at summoning up tornados and wind gusts. Often, he was the one to ruin his brother's garden. Supported Entei in his sorrow over Kepperante losing his leadership role, but really didn't care either way.

Ancient of Spirit -- Emberosa
Emberosa was a spirit haunting the ship that the Architects stayed on. When the ship was brought down planetside and destroyed, she lingered in the area. Eventually, she found a way to hop to different artifacts, and made her way somewhere else.
She is the only Architect that survived both purges.
She may show back up in the story eventually.
