Sappho honestly figured that she was best off avoiding anyone with an order power signature, because all of them so far had struck her as total weirdo bullies. Big into the whole idea that they were defending the planet and keeping the evil Negaverse and Dark Mirror accountable, or whatever they thought they were doing.
The problem was, if she got distracted enough, she was really bad at paying attention to her surroundings, and she was very distracted, chilling on a bench after coming out of Mirrorspace. She'd found another pretty crystal for her realm--one of the blue ones, this time, which meant she could use it and the gray one she'd found a few days before to make a pretty little water feature on her island. She'd have to duck back into Mirrorspace to do it, of course, but obviously that could wait.
She turned the crystal mover in her hand, holding it up to the moonlight and watching it shimmer. It felt cool and covered in condensation, a sign of the roiling water that might well be inside--and Sappho was a little too caught up daydreaming about pretty little waterfalls to remember that she ought ot be more careful when she was out in Destiny City, especially on a bench at the edge of a park at night.

Ekstrom caught the glint from not too far away, having sensed a signature and made her approach as she would have any other night. For her part, it wasn't like she ever approached with the intention to get into a fight! But experience had taught her to at least check—because it never hurt her to do that—and only intervene if the business involved endangering anyone, especially civilians. Experience also taught her to be careful even with her approach, and to not to do it alone if she ever sensed more than one signature gathered together.
And so she adjusted her course some five minutes earlier until she found the owner of the Chaos signature, alone on a bench and rather absorbed in looking at a pretty little something that glinted in the light.
"Hi!" she said from still a good way off, tone as bright and cheerful as it was with any stranger. She hoped that an early announcement of herself would help to quiet the potentially immediate concern of someone wanting to fight.
"Sorry, I thought I saw something from over there," she jabbed a thumb over her shoulder, "and got curious."

Sappho did jump, a little, and curl her hand protectively around her crystal, pulling it close to her chest. She really, really hoped that she wasn't about to experience some kind of stupid misunderstanding, but at least the glowy Knight approaching her seemed to be...well, she wasn't jumping to attack, so that was a positive.
"Hi," she said, a little cautiously. She'd heard a little about Knights and Senshi that glowed like this, but she didn't really have a grasp on what it meant--it wasn't something she could do, and it didn't really directly affect her, so.....not super relevant.
"Uh, yeah, you might have seen this, if it was something shiny?" She extended her hand to show off the crystal. "It's from Mirrorspace. We can use them to make things in there." She could be cautiously trusting and friendly. Maybe this would end better than her other run-ins with the other side.

There was a look of relief about her when the senshi actually replied rather than go on guard, and with some confidence she took a few more steps before leaning in to get a closer look at what was in her hand. It was a pretty crystal, and she moved closer still without really thinking as she quietly admired it for a long moment.
"I've been to Mirrorspace once," she said, looking thoughtful as she tried to remember the experience. It had definitely been a good one! But she couldn't remember too much beyond that vague impression. "Over a year ago, I think? Maybe longer." She was smiling still, mostly because she remembered Leona and the somewhat unfair exchange of her sharing the beauty and potential of her Realm while Ekstrom had inadvertently showed her a morgue or something on her Wonder.
She made up for it by feeding her after they got back to Earth, which...hopefully counted for something.
"If I remember right," she went on as she shifted her gaze from the crystal back over to its owner, "you can customize your personal space there into whatever you want, right? What was it called again? It definitely wasn't 'space'."

Sappho perked up a little. It was nice, then, that this Knight already had some positive experience with the Mirror; maybe it would mean that things weren't so awkward and awful.
"It's really cool, isn't it?" She said, clearly delighted by the prospect of talking about her Realm. Sure, yeah, Knights and Senshi had whole fancy homeworlds and whatever. That was very nice. But did they get to build whatever they wanted?
...Sappho had to admit that she didn't actually know. But whatever.
"The part that has our little magic island Realms is called the Mirrorscape, yeah, it's separate from the main part of Mirrorspace. Layers, and stuff." She scuffed her foot against the ground, briefly, thinking.
"Actually, have you seen how we make things in there? Because I could show you, if you want." She grinned. "I have a couple more crystals, and I'm pretty sure if I mash them together I can make something super cute. And hey, even if you've seen it before, this'll be different, yeah?"

That was it—realms! Though rather than say it out loud and interrupting her new acquaintance, her face took on an "a-ha!" sort of expression, and her smile broadened as she nodded her head and listened.
"It is cool," she agreed. "I'm pretty sure that's what I also thought when I first heard about it. I love my Wonder and the whole–" she made some small, waving gestures with her hands, "inheriting and rebuilding it and stuff, but even now I can't really figure how to make my mark on it, y'know? If I got to actually make it..."
She looked dreamy for a moment, but snapped back at her offer.
"They did, but I wouldn't say 'no' to your offer even if I remembered it clearly." She paused to think back again, and there was a vague image of crystals being broken? Maybe?
She stepped closer still, curiosity and wonder alight in her eyes.
"So if you're willing, I'd definitely love to see! Do you have a vision for your realm already? Or just putting stuff that you like into it?"

Sappho nodded. That made perfect sense to her. Why wouldn't you want to make your mark on something that was supposed to be yours?
"I hope you can find a way," she said, honestly. Space held no particular allure for her; she'd never been and didn't particularly want to go. But she could at least encourage someone who clearly did care, that was just the right thing to do.
"I'm happy to show my place off," she said. "I've been building kind of like, a park around a pond? It's been super fun putting it together." She extended a hand. "I'm sure you got the warnings last time, but stick close and don't wander off. Mirrorspace loves its Court but it doesn't really like outsiders."
At least, Sappho was pretty sure Mirrorspace loved its Court. It felt like that to her.
"There's a mirror just over this way," she said, standing up and beckoning for Ekstrom to follow, "it's where I just came out of. We'll have to dip back in, make a quick jaunt to the common area, go through a couple more mirrors, and we'll be there."[

"Thanks," she answered simply, some small relief coming over her after sensing the sincerity in the senshi's words. At the warnings she gave a nod, though she was somewhat preoccupied with trying to imagine what her realm looked like. A park around a pond sounded really...peaceful. A good place to draw, maybe, or picnic with guests.
"A park around a pond sounds super relaxing," Ekstrom said as she followed. "And I got it—stick close, don't wander. If I remember right, it feels kinda–" Her face scrunched up slightly in thought as she tried to find words to describe what she could remember.
"Weird," she eventually landed rather flatly with the single word, but hurriedly added, "but I was fine! And I'll probably be fine this time, too. And I can definitely stick close and not wander off." She gave a sweet smile at that, and then gestured for the senshi to keep leading the way.
Though after a beat of silence and a sudden realization: "I'm Ekstrom, by the way."

"Oh, yeah, it's super nice," Sappho said, as she began to lead them back towards the mirror. "Really quiet and peaceful, which is great because I won't lie, that is somewhat lacking for me." Between her busy job and spending a lot of time with family, having somewhere she could guarantee wouldn't be invaded by some request or an enthusiastic small child was...a blessing.
"Anyway, Mirrorspace is kinda weird until you get used to it," she acknowledged. "I thought it was kinda creepy at first, but it's really grown on me, you know?" She stepped into the mirror, and offered Ekstrom a hand to pull her through.
"I'm Sappho," she introduced herself, a little belatedly. "Very cool to meet you, and I appreciate that you have been cool through all of this."

She nodded in understanding, thinking of her own situation and not for the first time appreciating that despite her busy life—between work and knight responsibilities and a genuine attempt to balance both with her personal interests—she did have peace and quiet when she got home. She worked hard for it, and was often reminded of how fortunate she was to have it.
"We could all use that sort of safe haven," she agreed with a little nod. "I'm glad you've got yours, even if it did start out a little creepy."
"And it's cool to meet you, too," she went on. The rest of her introduction didn't escape her, but not wanting to focus on anything negative she instead offered a small, hopefully encouraging little smile. "Well, I appreciate you being cool and willing to share with me."
With that, she took Sappho's offered hand.
