 The Training Grounds were a part of the grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The grounds were flat, short-cut grassy areas and were located near the Herbology greenhouses. It was overlooked by the Bell Tower Wing and the Defence Against the Dark Arts Tower.

Bren raced outside and plopped down on the first patch of grass she found, her robes fanning out underneath her. She was so so glad it was finally warm. Boston didn't have amazing weather, but it wasn't cloudy nearly as often as it was here in the UK. She'd been dying to go outside since she'd woken up and heard birds singing. Classes had been torture. Not even Professor Kim could keep her attention in Defense Against the Dark Arts, which was usually her favorite class. Now she was free. Her siblings were probably behind her somewhere, but well, they could catch up. She closed her eyes, feeling the sun across her face and a tiny breeze tussling a few strands of her hair. When she heard the sound of footsteps, she didn't open her eyes but mumbled, "Y'all. This is nice." She took a deep breath, relaxing even further. "That's it. I'm moving to Cali. This country's weather is ick way too much." She just wanted eternal spring.

xxxxx❉ Wʜᴀᴛ's Iɴsɪᴅᴇ Mʏ Hᴇᴀᴅ? Yay! Spring! Winter was fun and all, and they'd gotten to play in the snow a lot more than when they lived in the city, but Gracie, much like her triplet siblings, loved being outside. And it got pretty darn cold here in Scotland during the winter. Heck, the snow drifts themselves were almost as tall as the twins of the triplets. Alec was a little taller than them, but only by a couple inches... The sun had been shining when they'd woken up for classes this morning, and with the snow melted, Grace was practically humming with excitement. Classes sucked, because much like her sister, Gracie couldn't focus too much on the lessons being taught. After their last class, Bren practically launched from her seat and Grace was hot on her tail. Usually the girls were always a scooch faster than Alec as they sprinted for the outdoors. Clearing the doorway, Bren practically threw herself at the ground and Grace was right behind her, dropped to the grass and sprawling out beside her sister. "Yeah, spring is definitely a welcome sight," she said with a giggle. When Bren mentioned moving to Cali, Gracie suppressed a snort, then added, "Plus they don't have any raccoons here. I wanted to find Bandit a friend." She huffed a heavy sigh and laid back in the grass, letting it tickle the back of her neck.

Alec had been quite excited for the end of classes today. His sisters wanted to go outside, which meant he could more easily convince them to go exploring somewhere. His previous attempts had been met with boos because apparently Scottish snow was worse than the sheets of snow back home. Of course, he was still hoping that they'd get to go to Boston again soon. Maybe over summer break.
As soon as Defense class was over, Bren and Grace practically sprinted out. Alec pushed up to his feet, then hurried out after them. How was he the tallest, but also somehow the slowest runner?! Thankfully, they'd already talked about where they wanted to meet up! Once he made it, the preteen plopped down on the grass beside his sisters. "Eww, why wouldja pick Cali? We should go to like... Hawaii or something." He laughed, lovingly nudging Bren. Grace said spring was welcome and he nodded, glad that the sun was out again. Of course, the middle kid opted to mention her beloved pet raccoon, who hadn't been welcome to come to Hogwarts with them. "We could always go adventuring! We could probably find Bandit a magical friend. Mom totally wouldn't be mad. 'Less it's got too many teeth or something." Alec ran a hand through his messy hair, debating on which kind of critters they could find nearby. Maybe a dragon or something?

As Bren listened to Grace speak, she nodded, eyes still closed. "Hey, maybe next time we go back to America, we'll see if we can catch you one." Bren could firmly say she knew little about raccoons, but she couldn't imagine any city raccoons they'd find would make great pets, however. That was a job for Grace to figure out. "Maybe we can talk Mom and Dad into going back to Boston or something this summer."
Then Alec spoke. Bren peeked open her eyes and crinkled her nose at her brother. "Do not shame California," she said, sticking out her tongue."Like, yeah, some of it is a cesspit, but Disneyland. And the beach! It's not like I said Florida." She thought for another moment before saying more."I'd like to go to Hawaii, but like...bugs. Don't they have a lot of bugs there?" Bren shivered despite herself. She remembered one time she'd open a kitchen cupboard and was greeted with a cockroach. And that was a Massachusetts cockroach. A Hawaii cockroach had to be worse.
However, her brother managed to redeem himself by suggesting adventuring. "Ooh, let's! There's got to be plenty of creatures around here." She had to admit, she wasn't sure she was quite as convinced about the whole 'Mom wouldn't be mad' part, but it was sort of hard to tell. So long as it didn't poop on the carpet or something, it'd probably be fine.
