At the compliment, Chestnut gave a smile and puff of her chest. "Thank you, Orion! My whole family is pretty cute if you ask me."

Family. Kori still wondered how his parents and siblings were fairing... But ah, no time to truly think about such a thing. The story he had in store had nothing to do with them after all. Was that a sad thought to think? Probably.

There's a mental sigh he gives himself for straying down that line of thought. Hopefully someday he'd find his own love and start his own little family he could keep together.

"I certainly am lucky to have Chestnut by my side, yes!" He'd reply with pride! "The days are less lonely with her by my side after all."

"I try my best to be a good travel companion~ Now, how about that story, Kori?"

"If Orion is ready to hear I will gladly share. I can't wait to hear his story either."

"Hey~ I wouldn't mind staying friends and staying in touch. What about you, Kori? You haven't had a friend in so long. Well, before I came along that is."

"Sounds delightful to me. I've no protests."

Chestnut gave a kitty stretch and yawn before sitting down close to Orion - But not too close. She minded the personal space between them. Now it was Kori's turn to settle himself down and get comfy for story sharing time.

"Well, the story I wish to tell is sort of silly. Nothing too grandiose or exciting. It was how I came across a splendid tree. Silly as it may seem, this tree just... Spoke to me, in an odd way. Not literally, no. But figuratively."
