Teepees: [Toni] // [Vis]
PostPosted: Tue Feb 24, 2026 3:16 pm

Tian had been admiring the pretty curls that he had considered came from their father’s luscious curly locks. “I.. have a man bun?” He said, semi filled with pride.
Humming lightly with a shrug, “I think he just gets help to put it all into a bonnet at night.” Trying to picture how a hooved Stallion would do that on his own was actually a fun mental math time for Tian.

Tiam Asra nods willingly. “You did indeed, sir, and a sexy braid. Which is a better choice than fighting with your brother for his collection of damn curl wraps-”
The white starfox mare trails off with a pointed look in Tryst’s direction, eying his curly hair suspiciously.
Distracted from his current task of moving jars of honey carefully into crates for transport, Tryst snaps his head up, affronted at the assumption his hair is in any way unnatural. “HEY!”

Tian considered the idea of curl wraps; he laughs lightly, beaming with pride about Tiam pointing out his beautiful braid. He was very proud of his braid. “Thanks!” Before turning his head quickly at the loud expression from his brother. Cluing in with a wide grin. “He’s always told me that they were natural.” His attention returned to Tiam.

Making an amused sound and tossing her head to send her own curls tumbling, Prasanna easily jumps in on teasing the painted draft unicorn. “Oh, I'm sure he did…”
Her tone insinuates her disbelief, and she laughs when Tryst’s look darts in her direction, heavy with accusations of betrayal.

Huiwen looked up from his book, lowered down onto the ground with his cat laying lazily beside his book, cluing into the conversation for only a moment when Prasanna jumped into the teasing. Huiwen’s glance returns to the pages, giving a soft sound of appreciation to the cat when she flips the page for him with a bat of her paw.

Knowing that most of the long-haired Soquili in attendance see Kjell and some of the other hair specialists, Telumendil makes a point of looking at Tryst. “Awkward... Do we go to the same salon and just.. not know?”
“Is this like the spa secret everyone knows about but no one talks about, so those of us that don’t know can’t say we don’t know and we only find out when they take us along?” Prasanna asked with quiet desperation.
Giving her an amused but sympathetic look, Telu nodded.

Tian looked confused, which seemed to not be an issue as of late. “Kjell..?” The name sounded familiar. “Oh like.. Mister Kjell!” Right, yes. He knew exactly who Telu meant. Sure did. No confusion, all good now.
Kjell, from the side of the community feeling rather old and decrepit. “Oof… I have been aged.” He winces, ah to remember a time when Kjell was considered of the youngest in the friendgroup.

Giving a thoughtful frown, Ecthalion leaned on his sister and pointedly put his chin on top of her head, right between her ears. “Kjell? Slowburn courted the White Queen, Kjell? Hmmm… Can I make a business in the front, party in the back joke?”
Shaking him off, Telu replied in tones both clipped and resolute. “You may not.”
Grinning as he’s shaken off, Thel gives a shrug and looks in Prasanna’s direction.
“I may not.” He murmurs, and nods.

“Yes, yes. I just had to jog my memory.” Tian said, lowering his ears and head just a little bit. Feeling quite silly, since Kjell had even been within the area presently. “Party in the back… Business in the front?” He considers this statement and squints before it comes clear to him. “O..Oh!”
Listening to the twins poke fun at one another made Tian regain his esteem. Snorting in amusement at the joke Thel had made. It had even made Huiwen chuckle into his book, breaking Huiwen from feigning no intrigue in the topic at hand… At hoof? At hoof.

Giving Thel a playful wink at the title and performative reverence, Teleri offered Kjell a sympathetic look and a gentle nudge with one wing. “Come on now… Mr. Kjell isn't so bad. I'd argue it's better than ‘ma'am’.”
Amused by the mated pair and their joking, Telumendil eyed Huiwen and grinned. “It could be worse?” She said before snapping her chin around to eye her twin. “Thel.”
Thel chuckles, pleased to have amused the young guns and buoyed by the snort Tian gave over the not-permitted-joke, immediately giving her an innocent look at the severity of her tone. “Yes, Dear Sister. Sorry.”

Kjell fluffed up at the title given to him by the young starborn, wiggling and flapping his tiny and mostly useless wings on his back. It was a title he was strongly appreciative of. “I much prefer the Slow Burn Courter of the White Queen.” He gave a sharp nod towards Thel. His snout moved to bury into Teleri’s long locks.
Huiwen smiled in response to the twins’ grins, although it was given to silly grins Huiwen’s smile was still very prim and proper.

Huiwen was hiding in the books from Beastius, and really anyone. As a scholar, it was his personal goal to raid all of the libraries he did know about. Beast’s was just in general the largest he had known besides the library his father had accumulated.

He was a little startled, however, when he came out of the semi-hidden den area of said library and found the one he was hiding from primarily. Coughing cheekily to try and feign nonchalance about being found by Lukan.

Lukan just shaking his head dismissively, Relandoris in his mind were a part of the rare outsiders he’d let in. Really, they weren’t much of outsiders since a lot of the books in his possession were supplied and traded with Huiwen’s father Amuru. “You’re fine, Huiwen.” Lukan stated before returning to organizing his library.

With the dismissal, Huiwen continued to read at will, laying on a woven mat gifted to Lukan’s library by Olwen. Sighing out in relief he did not lose another library to visit.

Still getting used to the fact that the herds here had so many interesting and unique artifacts, Tiam Asra is unsurprised to find her mate once again hiding among the shelves of a rather exceptional library diligently maintained by Lukan. Admittedly, she has looked in several other places first, but this is fairly high up on the list, both for its content and its somewhat out of the way location. Finally having spotted her quarry, the fox mare walks up behind him on silent paws and pointedly leans against his side, considering the books also. “Looking for something or helping Beast catalog?”

Huiwen hummed, glancing up towards her, moving to stand at her side again. It was a good reminder he should take time to stretch his limbs. His hooves needed to take out the tingles. So, as she leaned on him, he leaned back to soak up her warmth. Giving her soft knickers. “Not looking in particular, just absorbing whatever comes to me.”

Giving the books another brief glance, Tiam smiles affectionately at the somewhat instinctive lean, crooning softly at him. She’s content to stand there and wait in silence, just soaking up the peace of the space and Huiwen’s presence, but when he looks at her she offers a smile. “I’ve been looking for you, but I didn't want to interrupt your intellectual pursuits.”

Returning her affectionate smile with one of his own, he practically melts. His withers and haunches twitching under his skin. Looking at her in quiet bafflement, looking for him? He felt bad for not telling her where his hooves were going to take him earlier in the morning. “You’re not interrupting me. You’re always welcome to join me.” Huiwen said warmly, just as warm as her canid body against his thinner coat.

As he is once again looking at the books, Tiam gives an affectionate smile. “Well, there was no need to, then. I just wanted to spend time with you while you did something you enjoyed.”
Craning her head up, she nuzzles affectionately at his cheek, then his forehead, moving on to nose at the start of his crest. “Go back to reading, hmm? I’ll be here with you.”
Niko, drawing to a halt off to one side, blinks in surprise. “Well.... that cousin is settling in just fine, evidently.”

Huiwen tilting his head just a fragment of movement, smiling. “Well.. I don’t mind the massage, ah. It was nice. But.” His eyebrows drew close against her snout, “I wouldn’t mind also being around you while you do something you enjoyed.” Settling back down, closing into her to tuck her closer against him and nuzzling into her.
Aviva had formed, having tried to find Tiam at some point today but she didn’t want to disturb her time with Huiwen. A broad smile stretching across her face. Feeling content to see her first friend in these lands having good moments with such a lovely scholar.

“If you’re going to make yourself comfortable with a good book, the least I can do is help, hmmm?” Tiam murmurs with a soft laugh. “Well, that can certainly continue.”
Letting him get resituated, Tiam smiles and squeaks in surprise as she in turn folds herself closer, giggling as she is resettled. “I think I may have gotten played? Well then, if that is so, that was crafty of you, Sirrah.”
Niko shifts on his hooves and then gives a few side-glances at the lurking Aviva.

Another affectionate smile is given to Tiam as he noses into her neck. Giving soft little murrmurmurhfhrs into the crook of her jaw where it meets her neck and ear before snuffling into her large fox ear. Admiring how soft the fur was there. “I would say I learned from my father, but he’s not very smooth.”
Aviva stretching a set of wings in a small victory for finding her closest friend before considering what else to do with her day, her dark emeralds widen as she notices the discomfort she’d given the stallion who called Tiam ‘cousin’. Grinning in greeting.

Tiam Asra giggles softly at the remark somewhat at his father’s expense. She hadn’t exactly met ‘The Widowmaker’, but she had heard stories. She could guess that jokes at his expense were not precisely common. Perhaps something only his sons could get away with.
Then again, she’d be the last soul to tell him.
“Well, learned from his missteps, perhaps. Either way, it serves you in good stead.”
Nervously, Niko sketches a bow with a sweep of his wings, and straightens to offer a timid smile. “Good day?”

The Blood-Dappled Knight, Imrikalto, blinks in surprise at the Unicorn mare before him that seems to be deemed intolerable by several others he can only describe as idiots. “They think what now?”

Muna had made a quiet expression of an apology. Having added an almost inaudible reason as to why she was apologizing as she had asked Imri a question. “That I ask too many questions.” She couldn’t stop herself from sounding defeated. So much so her wings had sagged.

Frowning at the statement, Imrikalto tilted his head questioningly. “I don't mind that? I mean, how do you learn things without asking questions?”

Imri’s tilt of his head and frown at the statement made her ears lower down now too but then they perked up at his statements. Her wings picking up off the ground and perking up. “Ah.. You are my soulmate!” Quietly complimenting Imrialto on how handsome he was to herself.

“A bold statement.” Making an amused noise, Imri gives an appealing look skyward. “Fate save me from a blue-eyed Alicorn Gal.”

Batting her blue eyes at him and then giggles in amusement. “I will try not to use them on you too often.”

Trying not to be too bashful, the young soquili gives a modest duck of his head. “I'd appreciate that, ma'am. I'm quite susceptible.”

Muna squinted her eyes, not out of disgust or any sort of dismay. But because, “Just call me Muna, I’m not even a mother let alone a ma’am.”

‘That isn’t exactly what I meant by that’... Giving a thoughtful tilt of his head, Imri offers an understanding nod. “Muna, then…”

Flipping her scarf around in resolute, she adds, “And we would make attractive babies?”

Surprised by the candor, Imri finds himself responding. “That's true.”
Well, he couldn’t exactly argue with a Lady, now could he?

-
Muna asking someone during their crafting activities, “Where does that go?”

“Just answer her questions, kindly.” Imri in the background glaring threateningly at anyone she might be talking to. “Say one mean word to my sweet cinnamon wife and I will end you.”

Muna looked at the small construction kit she had gotten from Imri, which was said to be capable by those of hoof-varieties in Soquili. Looking at specific parts that have two sizes with an inquisitive stare. “Why would one just say to interlock these two pieces of wood and not add the specific measurements to make it easy to recognize which of which they mean?” She sighs in contemplation and does “math” quietly before working it and figuring it out.
Huiwen, Muna’s younger brother, considered the Alto who had brought said project kit. Looking at Imri from the corner of his eye in a way that suggests he’s judging the character of his new brother in law. “This is why it takes her hours to build a 30 minute project.” Nudging his nose towards Muna. “You’re best to either settle down and watch her or do the project yourself.” Huiwen cleared his throat. Awaiting the answer he hopes for.

Imri, always willing to indulge his wife, cheerfully buys her project kits and helps when he can with the assembly of various items. If needs be there are also a slew of familiars that can be requested to help with fine motor work. Seeing her so happy in her element, Imri metaphorical chinhands, literal hearteyes at his lady.
“Does it make her happy? Then I'll sit and watch and answer what questions I can.” He offers without hesitation. “She already knows she can put me to work at will.”

Huiwen sighs out loud, the sigh wasn’t ridiculing of the answer Imri had given Huiwen, it was purely out of relief. “I see why The Dads set this lifemating up between you and my sister.” He metaphorically wiped the sweat off his brow.
Muna making soft chirping noises to herself over the completion of the first step.

Sibalto, standing off to the side and considering the latest arrangement, grins fondly at ‘The Kids’.
Imrikalto, ignoring everyone except Muna, including his dad.
Ashrialto, steps up next to his grandfather and blinks at the scene. “Wow. Dad being sickeningly happy in love is... nice.”

<< How Did It Happen Flashback?
Amuru formed beside his longterm best friend, “My daughter's husband ran out on her without a reason..”
Sibalto, blinking as he thinks of his single son. “Oh. You don't say.” >>

Orbala’s mellow and blithe disposition watching the affection seep out of her brother and sister in law. She was nonchalantly enjoying the scene but all that came from her was a “Merrp.” Sound from her throat.

Tsís'ná, draws to a halt and blinks at her brother being completely marshmallow’d over his Lady. “I think I'm too young to witness this level of intimacy.”
Imrikalto takes one look at his sweet baby sister and makes a decision. “NOPE. NOPE NOPE. TO THE TOWER WITH YOU.”
Sibalto sighs tiredly. “Just because the fairytales say to lock the Princess in the tower doesn’t mean you can actually do that to your sister, Imri.”
Alderfly sighs tiredly at her brother in law and scowls at the rest of the males in her family. “Not so friendly reminder: There's no tower, you've only ever had boys in the family.”
Imrikalto makes an argumentative noise. “There is so, we built it for you... But it was too late, you were already too headstrong.
Alderfly blinks in quiet bafflement, then scowls at him. “... Remind me to beat you up for the attempt.”

Orbala’s eyes going doe-like and cute. “Do I have to go into the tower?” That sounds absolutely boring.

Sib, Imri, Ash, Delri: YES
Alderfly rolls her eyes at the boys all yelling in unison.
Tsís'ná looks at them in unamused, tsking. “You must be joking because -I assure you- neither of us will be doing that.”

Orbala sighs at the onslaught of the boys and her father’s unified agreement. “Let’s go ask Uncle Amumu to adopt us. These ones stink.” She leans against Tsis.
Amuru’s reaction to this from his corner of the conversation was just to chuckle, “Ah but I live in a library half of the time, it’s just as bad as a tower.”

Tsís'ná sighs. “The boys are way too sensitive and overbearing… I think we need a wild relative.”
Alderfly makes a thoughtful noise. “Want to come to the Faire? That's where everyone else meets their hot partners, of any and all kinds…”
She allows a considerable pause and then gives a sigh. “Disclaimer: It hasn't worked for me though.”

Muna fluffed up and tilting her head indignantly. Her wings fluttering and shivering in excitement towards the younger sister in laws, “How about.. Best Sister-in-Law takes you?”

Making a disapproving sound, Imri looks from Alderfly to his sisters and then back. “What?! You can't take my little sister to meet hot strangers!”
“I’m pretty sure that she can, actually… I think we were discussing that exact option.” Tsís'ná points out with a cheerful nod. “Just listen, we’re planning it right now. But ssshhhhh, the girls are talking.”

Muna stepping a hoof forward towards Imri and tilting her head in the other way, knowing it works well, “But, why not?” Using her blue eyes on him indignantly once again.
Orbala lets out a sigh, “I am left out.” Feigning care about being left out. She knew she was an awkward case. She didn’t usually show much interest in hot boys. But a tower sounded even worse to her. Leaning against her littermate.

The dappled stallion makes an indignant squawking noise. “EITHER SISTER. NONE OF LITTLE SISTERS GOING TO THE FAIRE TO MEET BOYS.”
Tsís'ná affectionately grabs a mouthful of her sister’s braided mane and gives a pointed tug, beginning to walk toward Alderfly. Her voice is muffled but somewhat understandable as: “Let’s go.”

Muna’s eyes go doe-like, at even more of a finesse than Orbala’s had gone. “Why not? My brothers let me meet you?” Her eyes blinking and fluttering her long eyelashes.
Orbala lets her sister lead the way, if Tsis wishes to meet cute boys then it beats staying here and being bored. Giving their aunt a bat of her own eyes to help persuade her to just take the sisters along to the Faire.

Imri remains stout in his refusal for the girls to run off to the Faire to find partners. “When you were grown! They're just babies!”
Tsís'ná stomps a hoof. “Stop being impossible, Imri! I’m a full grown adult, so is Orbala!”
Imri: You’re still so young!
“You can’t say that for the rest of our lives!” Tsís'ná argues. “What, are you planning to say that when we’re Allie’s age? When we’re twenty or thirty?”
Imri gives a negating snort. “You’re too innocent!”
Tsís'ná, rapidly losing her patience. “Keep it up and I’ll be Age 43 convicted OF FRATRICIDE JUST WAIT.”
Imri makes a startled noise of moderate concern.

Orbala’s body twitches and she turns an ear as her sister stomps her hoof down. Backing up her sister after the statement about fratricide, “Are you afraid of us becoming cougars at all, Imri? Or?”
Muna adds a considering blink up at Imri again. “You know I’m younger than you by a bit.. Right?” She tilts her head in mock innocence.

Blinking in surprise, Tsís'ná tilts her head. “Wait... like the Shifter??”
Imri makes a scandalized noise at Orbala. “How do you even know words like this?!”
Tsís'ná sighed. “We do not live in a bubble, Imri.”

Orbala, borderline giggling, smiles at her brother and sister. “No, Tsis, like a much older lady to a younger male.” Her borderline red chestnut eyes to her brother. “And it was Huiwen Ge Ge.”
A soft sound escaping the youngest Relandori son, “Don’t put me in this.” He says with little amusement added in.
Muna shaking her head and rolling her eyes. “It’s always Di Di, ah.”

Tsís'ná makes an understanding noise. “Oh... I see…”
Imri closing his eyes in silence, wishing he could faceplant into something solid. “Girls..”
Enjoying his suffering, Alderfly chimes in. “I'm the older lady. Where's my young handsome thing?”

Huiwen goes to attend classes, comes back.
Ends up bringing home Tiam.
Amuru: Blinks a little.
Huiwen: Look, a wife.
Amuru: He.. He just went to school.

Tiam, shifting slightly on her paws, gives a cheerful nod and smile. “Hello!”

Amuru looks down at her from his height, “Hello daughter in law.” Warm smile.
Muna moves over to her and clings to her. Placing cheek against cheek and looks up at Huiwen. “Did you bring me home a sister who actually will talk to me?”
With astonishment, Huiwen answers, “I.. Wow. I didn't think of it that way”

Tiam finds herself staring at the tall until someone is cheek to cheek with her, then crooning and affectionately smooshing back. “Hello! Yes, I will talk to you, of course.”
She blinks in surprise and then stares at Huiwen. “Did you just get me an entire family… and you?”

“Yes, I have an entire family.” Huiwen says with much pride. His cat meowing from his back.

“Best date ever.” Tiam admits easily.
-----

Sibalto looking slightly apprehensive. “In the category of oversharing…”

Muna blinks at Imri, and without looking at her father. “Ba, cover your ears.”
Amuru shook his head sharply, “Nope, as the cool kids say; I’m out.”

Imri gives a sigh. “We're talking about past relationship issues.”
Sib gives him a pointed look.” Well, some of us are discussing past relationships… For some of us they are still present.”
“Not that present.” Imri points out quietly.

Leaning into Imri, Muna adds, “I know you weren’t talking about me.”
Amuru nodding quietly to Sibalto, glancing down at his own divorce that was current and occurring at the exact time.

Imri leans back into her weight. “I love my son but the rest of the relationship was…”
He cuts off with a shake of his head. “It’s in the past for a reason.”
Sib hums and shoulder-taps Amuru supportively.

Amuru nudging Sibalto in the shoulder gently thinks about the snow cones he had crafted. “Do you want to go have snowcones?”

Sib blinks and then tips his chin up, mind made. “You know what? That sounds amazing.”
Imri slowblinks, startled by the invitation and the easy agreement from his father. “Ah ... You might be winning that one.”

Muna nodded warmly at Imri and mused out loud, “I get it. I liked the Mysterious Deer Guy that lived on the edge of Uncle Moofu’s lands. He didn’t answer any of my questions though.” Grumbling to herself. “It was rather annoying.” However her luck had changed, “I am happy you answer all of my questions the best you can. I admire you.” She grinned at him. Trying not to think about the past either.

Imri, looking fondly at her.
“Well–” he begins and then happily explains, answering her to the best of his ability.

Muna nodding at her and becoming inwardly resolute with keeping Imri.

Imri shyly looks at her, cutes at, and answers more questions.

“I mean, if we’re going to talk about the past I didn’t babytrap him or anything. He wasn’t horrible just so boring.” Leaning into Imri’s side as much as possible, which considering how small Muna was in comparison to her lifemate, wasn’t much.

Imri gives more deliberate blink as he processes. “Uh... ok? I don't know what to do with that as a sentiment. But his loss, at any rate.”
Helplessly, he grins and snuggles closer. “Hmmm, I bring you an entire family of gentlemen to boss around, that can't be too bad.”
Allie looks at Imri with a quiet fondness. “You're gross, Nephew.”
Used to her sass, Imri grumbles playfully back. “Don't bully me, Little Aunt.”
Sibalto rolls his eyes despairingly, hopelessly fond. “I hope the children play nicely…”

Muna beamed up at Imri, “More men to boss around!” Delightedly stomps her hooves in small, leaning into the snuggle after her self-applause-.
Farore: -Leans on Allie-.. I agree.. -Shakes her head-

“I’m sure they will.” Amuru chuckled as he digs out the flavouring he has for the snow cones.
Farore joining her friend’s side and shaking her head, “I agree.” Laughing under her breath.

Allie gives Farore a faint smile, tipping her head at the group and giving a playful roll of her eyes. “Well. Finally someone with sense around here.”
Tsis'na doesn’t bother to respond, but quietly snickers at her Aunt, thinking fondly to herself. ‘It was bound to happen sooner or later, wasn’t it?’

Orbala smiling in the corner with her sister and aunt.
Farore, having a moment to herself of feeling a lot. “Someone.. Thinks I make sense?” Puffing her chest up in pride.
Orbala looking between the two friends and clearing her throat. “Oh boy..”

Seeing that the family is all too caught up in their various jokes and conversations, the Furnace Hound known as Tajvar joins the group and rests his chin on top of Orbala's head with a hum of greeting. His arrival is without fanfare, rather an expression of silent confidence, assurance in his welcome. He’s here for one specific party, and the presence of others is rather inconsequential in that regard.
Allie ignores the late newcomer, her attention fixed on Farore with a smile. “I know you've noticed the boys are mostly ridiculous, so. Help me torment them a little? Tsis doesn't like to get into mischief much.”
Sometimes, but really, not nearly enough.

Orbala watching now indifferently to the affection around her until she feels a familiar warmth against the back of her neck. Just with a hum of greeting, a shiver rubs up her spine. “Var!” Her coldness escaping her body through all of her muscles, an affectionate sound passes the usually composed mare.
“Oh yes.. Very ridiculous” Farore agrees, shaking her head. Blinking and tilting her head sharply-.. “I'd love to~.” Grinning widely.

There’s a faint shiver as she settles within the curve of him, as if she is adjusting to the temperature, but in a pleased way. Like perhaps she had been experiencing a chill and didn’t even realize it, until he appeared to chase it away. A serene sort of pleasure suffused him at the thought, prompting a further unspooling of the stress that had kept his muscles snapping with tension.
Taking a moment to give a contented exhale, Tajvar gave a lazy, feline blink of all his eyes and then spoke a rumbling greeting.
“Good Evening, Wild Rose.” He murmured, before leaning down to nuzzle at her cheek. “I hope you are well.”
Delighted at the prospect of a partner in crime, Allie gives her an enthusiastic look, manic energy making her eyes bright with mischief. “Oh YAY! It's been rather boring, I think stirring things up would do them some good.”
All too often, this is rather the case. Several generations of SilverShadow Stallions doing their best to keep her safe… Contrarily, Allie observes their protective nature and bolts firmly in the direction of ‘I want to be hell on heels actually.’
Unsurprisingly, the response is usually a mix of despairing and stressed as the stallions all express their own variation of “Oh gods and spirits no.”

If black-pelted Soquili were able to blush, Tsis was blushing indefinitely. Thankfully no one could see it, but she could certainly feel the warmth climbing up her nose and cheeks. “I’ve been well. But I am better now that you are here. I hope you have been well?” Swivelling her ears back to him, turning her head to give him her attention.
“I know parkour and I can carry a lot?” Farore adds like as if she is having an interview.

Bright blue eyes sweep over the gathered parties, attempting to identify and categorize them from the various stories he has heard from Orbala. He knows better than to expect that the youngest of her brothers would be here, so that is out... He also thinks he remembers a mention of an elder brother that is never around, and a full sister that is very much busy with her own family and life. Though she may have some interaction with their Native-born mother, their father who essentially raised Orbala and her sister did not see enough of her. However, Sibalto was very present in his daughter's lives, as was one of his older sons, Imrikalto. Tajvar tilted his head faintly and felt he had successfully picked those two out of the group, offering nods, presuming that the missing body was that of the winged grand nephew, Delrialto. Perhaps he was on his way with his adopted daughter, perhaps he would not be joining the party.

Sibalto: -*stressed beyond reason*- I need tea I need ice cream I need a sedative i need to lie down I-
Sir do not let your sister in law give you a stroke
Sibalto: I DO NOT THINK I HAVE A CHOICE

Imri: Who could possibly be mad at questions?

Muna pushes face into his chest and murmurs something about him being perfect.

Standing firm at the added pressure, Imri rumbles affectionately and nuzzles at her mane. “Are you tired? Do you need tea, or a bedtime story?”

Muna takes in a deep breath. Looking up at him brightly. “I'm not that tired. But.. I would love a tea.”

Amuru and Sibalto in the corner like always talking about how they need their families to mingle..
Muna and Imri in the bg like cuddling and Muna asking him questions.
Muna later: How was your time with Uncle Sibby?
Amuru: Good. How was your time with his kids?
Muna: Smiling brightly, “I asked Imri about a lot of things..~”
Amuru: Oh.. dear. Was that okay with him? Did you ask consent..
Muna: He asked consent--what.
Amuru: What.

Imri, who would willingly carry her everywhere with him, answering questions the whole time: What now?

Muna has her chin resting over the top of his withers, though she lets him look around when he moves so she keeps balance. “Are you single?”

Imri humming idly in between questions, deftly working his way through arranging various platters and serving dishes of snacks and treats, simultaneously. “Hm? Oh. Yes, I am.” He blinks, tilting his head up to consider her. “Wait… Are you? Or is your partner very understanding? It has come to my notice that this might be... problematic.”

Accepting his answers, cause she trusts him to be right or tell her when he's unsure. But she generally knows his interests. “Ah..” Straightening and lifting her chin up off his wither and stepping to his side to make it easier on him to look up at her. Sort of looming. “Oh. I have only been in one situationsihp now. But currently I am single.” Giggling. “I wouldn't have done this if I was still in said situationship. Silly.”

Imri finds that he makes a resentful questioning noise when she moves, frowning at the loss of cuddles.
“Ah, relatable, that. Nothing since the separation, for me. I was young and it was rather inadvisable then but, I'm very much loyal to my partner when there is one to be had.” He hums understandingly. “Well, that's good to hear. I'm not really in the mood to defend myself against some giant warrior type.”

Eyes flickering at Imri, “I'm okay. I'm like a cat, if I fall I'll land on my hooves.” Nuzzling at Imri's ear and mane. “Mmh~. I can relate. As much as it was a situationship I was loyal to him. But it wasn't a very long one.” Shaking her head. “I was the one who asked if you'd ever do your daily activities while cuddling or carrying someone. You just answered me and asked if it was something we could do.” Humming along in curiosity. “Why so worried?”

“Well, that I don't doubt.” Imri shoots her a smile and then goes back to fiddling with a few of the dishes, stirring and whatnot as he moves around the space that has more or less been coopted into a refreshment booth for the unofficial party that is their family gathering, tilting his head into the attention. “Yeah, sometimes it goes that route. All we can do is learn from it, I guess.”
He laughs. “Well, it's one of the more interesting questions I've encountered? And we've proved that it can be done, so.”
He gives a rumble of contentment and then grins. “I am rather enjoying it, yes.”

Smiles back at him. “Eh.. Wow it's nice to have someone believe me.” Leaning back where she was, watching him. Making curious sounds. “I think we both know that I have a lot of passion for learning. Things happened, and I learned quickly that unless we were time travelers we can't change time.” Giggling. “Stick with me, Ri~ and you'll find out that I have many more where that one came from.” Shaking her head.” No I'm content. Unless you want my help?”
