✰ ∘₊✧──────✧₊∘ ✰ ✰ Day # 1✰ Theme: Eel (from 2/10) ✰ Time spent: 30-45 minutes (i think)  larger image: Comments: hmm, i have a habit of personifying things and i felt that would be easier in this case since i didn't give myself a ton of time for today's piece, hope i'll be able to go back and do some of the prior days' themes too! i think i brain farted and labeled the day wrong, i was looking at today's themes but obv it's the first day for me  hopefully i cleared it up

✰ ∘₊✧──────✧₊∘ ✰ ✰ Day # 3✰ Theme: Bleach style challenge (from 2/12) ✰ Time spent: 30 mins  larger image: Comments: ohboy, i was not having a good time with this one Bleach was a pretty big inspiration for me when i was younger, and there were so many good themes to choose from, but even this pretty simple looking sketch ended up taking a while to fix... ideally i would have liked to do less of a study and more of the actual style challenge with an oc, but i guess this just happens sometimes

✰ ∘₊✧──────✧₊∘ ✰ ✰ Day # 4✰ Theme: Personify: Hydro Flask (from 2/13) ✰ Time spent: ~2 hrs  larger image: Comments: this was a fun one! in the interest of time, i was split between doing a full body pic or try to colour it, and since i don't tend to colour my art very often i opted for that (also, i have this hydro flask haha) it took a while to do the pose so i still wound up just doing flats...

✰ ∘₊✧──────✧₊∘ ✰ ✰ Day # 5✰ Theme: Draw a portrait from imagination ✰ Time spent: ~30 min  larger image: Comments: alr, was chatting with folks and cut it closer than i wanted to i tend to draw a lot of stuff without reference, which is probably both good and bad, so i felt like this might be one of the easier options, and then i wound up redoing it a few times and just had to post it as-is since i started so late i keep intending to catch up on some of the prior days i missed, but time management's got hands

day 10theme: gaia/gaiaversary time: ~2.5 hrs  larger image: comments:the time for this one looks long, but includes some other avatar sketches that didn't quite pan out, this was the one that i decided to develop a bit more when i was going through my avatar gallery i noticed a bunch of them were ghostly, or headless, or had a third eye, fun fact (?)

day 11theme: 80s fashion time: 50 minutes  larger image: comments:unfortunately a hectic day, so i wound up remembering at sort of the last minute (last hour, if you will) 80s fashion has a lot of different styles, so i decided to go for a specific outfit when i found this list article: https://www.cosmopolitan.com/uk/fashion/style/g31928768/80s-fashion/ (#6) not really sure why i went for this falling pose, i guess i just wanted it to be more than standing there, it was pretty fun to do in the end - midway through i did want to change it entirely, but wouldn't have had time, so i just pushed through

day 14theme: stockings time: ~30-40 minutes  larger image: comments:what came to mind for me right away was pin-up art, and from one of the more famous artists there's a particular painting that seemed really appropriate for the theme (https://planete-vintage.com/en/blogs/blog-vintage/gil-elvgren) which i referenced a habit i have is to overly focus on the face and expression, so on this one i started with the body and left the head and face for much later. the arms look much too short as compared to the original, perhaps i'll return to fix this for a later challenge date
