He had let his guard down, which was his first mistake. He wandered back alleys leisurely, looking for victims instead of staying alert for the itchy brightness that signified the opposing faction, and it would soon prove to be his utter undoing.

Patrols came more and more frequently for Aruna lately. She felt restless if she didn't go out, if she didn't transform and do what she could to protect people. Maybe she needed to visit her planet again soon, maybe that would soothe her. But for now, she followed the faint prickly discomfort that told her an Agent was nearby. For now, kicking a bit of Negaverse a** would have to do.
Dropping down silently from a rooftop, the Senshi of Landslides quietly made her way down an alley as she followed the feeling. They didn't feel overly powerful, though nothing felt that way to her much anymore. Not since the display from Laurelite at the battle against the Herald. The pain from that reached all the way to her very core, making even her starseed ache and burn. Compared to that? Most agents felt no more harmful than the annoyance of a mosquito.
It didn't take long for her to spot the Agent in question. A black uniform with red accents, contrasted by pink hair and piercings. It clashed in an almost comical way, if she was honest. The way he felt, he couldn't be more than a lieutenant, she guessed. Even so, he could still be a problem to an unsuspecting civilian who got their energy drained.

This was the only rare occasion that Aaru was actually out on patrol rather than spending time on his wonder, restoring things [it was weird but maybe he should spend time patrolling more often]. He caught two power signatures: One that was on his level and order. One that was way below his level and belonging to chaos.
Well, that poor agent was probably about to get the s**t beat outta them, and it was not going to be pretty. He could either wait it out, catch a view from afar or, the more diabolical option: Join in and show the poor little negaverser a thing or two about wandering out alone.
Of course he opted for the third option. He never said he wasn't an a*****e…
Aaru started walking in the direction of the signatures, figuring they were not far and that he would be able to catch up with his long stride.

Coming up to block off the agents path, Aruna stood with her hands on her hips as she stared the much taller man down. She looked about as menacing as a pile of wet kittens, in all of her 5 foot 4 inch glory (well, 5 foot 6 inch if one counted the heels), but if Villiaumite were smart, he would recognize the wings and glowing marks as trouble. Villiaumite, however, was not a smart man.
Narrowing her eyes, Aruna stood firmly in place. ”Sorry, but I think you're done for the night.” She didn't often pick fights unprovoked, but tonight? Tonight she was in a foul mood. Her closing coworker had dipped out early, leaving her utterly screwed at the bookstore. She would deal with Akito tomorrow, but this would help her blow off steam in the meantime.

The girl who appeared in front of Villi looked almost like a little doll. Tiny, petite, and fragile looking. And she stood there, blocking his path like she was something scary. He missed the wings entirely, missed the way the markings on her skin glowed in the dim light of the alley, and missed the intensity of her energy signature. All of the above would be his undoing, but nowhere near as much as the second energy signature he missed coming up behind him while he tried not to laugh at the tiny girl.
“Oh? Says who, kid?” He twirled his pen as he arched a brow at her, infinitely amused as he towered over her. In retrospect, this would be something his sister would scold him for later. Immensely so. “Why don't you run along and go play with your dolls, hmm?” Oh. He was making a huge mistake. Monumentally huge. And he was about to find out via experience.

Aaru was correct in his assumption that he would make it to the pair in no time, appearing behind the agent in the alleyway while twirling his skull bora. He got a bit closer before tilting his head, “Hey buddy, might wanna heed the “kid’s” words. Can't say you would like what she does with ‘em.” He didn't know the girl’s power but she was eternal AND transcended, so that wouldn't bode well for the tall agent he was staring at.
He turned his gaze to the girl in front, “Might wanna cover your face or back up…” Or don't, can't say he didn't warn her. Tossing one of the skulls up and down, Aaru stopped after a minute, grabbing the back of one with his hand. The jaw of the skull flopped open and that thick, dense fog rolled out of its mouth, quickly making the short way towards his target.

Aaru can now use the more advanced stages of his hallucination magic pool that's about 40 seconds with a radius of 10ft. He can use this attack anywhere from once to about 8 times for the full 40 seconds. The hallucinations will become even more terrifying and depending on the target, may cause self harm or even harm to other team mates due to the fact that teammates could take the shape of their worst fear or as the very thing they are seeing at the time. The affected person can hallucinate figures and shapes that are not there as well. They cannot do both at once, but if the attack is used on the same person twice, the effect could be different. This does depend on the mental state of the target as well as any other factors from their life. Things that they fear would be a good start.
Aruna felt her blood boil at the dismissal from the Agent. It had never bothered her before to be called a child, to be so easily dismissed, but she had earned her rank goddamnit! At the arrival of another of her faction, she tilted her head curiously. She hadn't seen this one before, but she heeded his words without hesitation, backing up and covering her mouth and nose just in case.

Villiaumite rolled his eyes as he turned to face the man who had joined in. Which was right about when he realized he was in a very bad predicament. He could call his sister, if he was quick enough, but she would likely chew him out for being reckless. Better to handle this on his own.
And then magical fog rolled towards him. “What the….?” It only took a moment before the hallucination set in, his eyes widening in horror as he saw a figure lying on the ground in a pool of blood. Slowly, the prone woman contorted herself and started dragging herself towards Villiaumite. The words she spoke weren't English, but it was clear it was taking a toll on him. Shaking his head, he stumbled backwards to put space between him and the woman.

Aaru couldn't help but chuckle cruelly while the agent looked scared shitless. He decided to wrap the bora around the poor thing, yanking him back so he would be looking up at him instead. Since the hallucinogen was in full force, he wondered what he saw when looking at him. “Should've heeded the warning…” He grinned widely, “Boo.”
Villiaumite felt his knees try to buckle as he was yanked against the man. He grit his teeth, eyes continuing to glance back at the bloodied mess that took his sister's form. That wasn't her. That couldn't be her. There was no way that after coming so far, she would have ended it. But god…..what if he was wrong?
Struggling against the man, he glared up at him defiantly. “******** you and your ******** magic. What did you do to her?” He had no way of knowing that the gruesome sight was his alone to see. “What did you do to her!” He gripped his pen tightly and slammed it down hard into Aaru’s thigh. While it wasn't sharp, it had enough of a tip that it definitely wouldn't feel good.
----
Aruna watched from the other side of the pool of fog, frowning. She couldn't tell what was going on, but she knew better than to step into a pool of magic she had been warned against. She might be reckless at times, but never that foolhardy. Still, she almost felt bad as she saw sheer horror cross the Agent’s face, her chest squeezing as she watched it contort further with despair. Whatever he was seeing truly must have been horrible for him to look that broken.
When she saw him slam something into the knight’s thigh, she prepared herself for a fight. She couldn't attack without catching the knight in the crossfire, but if he were to step back from the b*****d, she just might have a shot.

“Fiesty little thing got damn!” The jab of the pen to his thigh did hurt, but it just meant he would change tactics. “I didn't do s**t to anyone you're thinking of. Perhaps you might want to look inside yourself and figure out what the ******** you’ve done to the person you're seeing right now.” Aaru left his weapon wrapped around the agent, then wrapped his own arms around his middle, lifting the agent up [he really didn't weigh as much as he thought he did] and proceeding to fling himself backwards. He didn't know what was up with him tonight but maybe this was because of his youngest wanting to watch WWE all the time. The suplex is what he was going for, clearly having fun.
Villiaumite was about to bite back a response, but suddenly he was being lifted and slammed backwards into the ground. A long string of colorful swears in both English and Japanese left him, and he curled in on himself as he tried to ride out the pain. Of all the rotten, shitty circumstances…. This was decidedly not a good night after all.
As the pool of fog vanished, Aruna stepped forward. She winced as she watched the man slam the agent into the ground, almost changing her mind about attacking but not quite.
“Your turn to move, I guess.” She gave Aaru a small smile before slamming her foot down hard. The earth beneath her feet shook and rolled as
Quote:
Eternal Attack: Supreme Slide!
A torrent of loose, wet dirt washes towards the target. A handful of hip tall ethereal boulders mixed with smaller boulders, rocks, branches and debris sweep forward to knock into her target. The larger boulders *can* be dodged if the target is fast enough, though the terrain is now slick and uneven and footing is hard to maintain. The attack reaches up to 20 feet in front of Aruna and the terrain change lasts for 45 seconds. The effects of the magic will fade with the magic ends, the terrain returning to normal, but lasting or more severe damage (such as lacerations from debris or broken bones etc) are at player discretion..

Aaru recovered and looked back at the senshi, bowing at the waist, “Sure thing~” He had his fun and he supposed he should leave some for the senshi that found him in the first place.
Villiaumite groaned as he started to try and pick himself up, only to be slammed into by goddamn boulders. Getting clipped in the shoulder, Villiaumite went down. Hard. The only thing he was able to do was curl in on himself and try to protect his head from the onslaught of rocks. When it was over, he was breathing hard and thoroughly terrified. What in the hell was all of this?
Looking to Aaru, Aruna gestured at the Lieutenant still on the ground. ”Think we've done enough for tonight? I'd rather not kill him, if it's all the same to you.” She heard Grieve’s voice echo in the back of her mind with comments about being too soft, but she ignored it. What Grieve didn't know wouldn't bite her in the a** later.

Yeah, he figured they’ve done enough.
“Lucky really…Had a ******** agent break my thigh bone when I was a page. Still have the scar from it.” The bone popped right on through and ******** did it hurt. “Alright little lady, try not to cause too much trouble yeah? Name’s aaru, I'm a knight of Saturn. I'm assuming you're a senshi right? Little butt wings and all.” He was already backing up from the scene since he knew the senshi could handle herself should something go wrong.

Nodding, she smiled over at the knight. ”Aruna of Landslides. Pleased to meet you.” She stepped deftly over the groaning agent without a second thought. ”I think you might be maybe…. The second Saturn Knight I've met? Maybe?” She tilted her head thoughtfully. Kaifeng was the only one who immediately came to mind, even if she didn't really know him all that well. Everyone else was either Earth or Cybele that she could think of off the top of her head.
”Thank you for the assist, by the way. And for the heads up on your magic. That…. Did not look pleasant.” Whatever the agent had seen, she wanted no part of that.
