Hunting - Although it spends much of its time resting or posing as a carcass, when it is awake and about, Rattle is a singleminded machine. It is always on the prowl to cause what might charitably be called “mischief.” Some would term this a “high prey drive” in a less intelligent animal, and maybe it applies anyway.
Dumpsterdiving - One of Rattle’s favorite means of attracting prey is to pretend to be a forlorn deer with something tangled up in its antlers. The closest thing it ever comes to showing outward amusement is when it finds something especially funny for this purpose, which it generally does by raiding dumpsters and junkyards, creating little caches of “costumes” consisting of tarps, paint buckets, Christmas lights, and other goodies.
Virtues:
Committed - A creature of singleminded focus, Rattle is indefatigable when commanded. It does not waver from what it perceives as its duties, and allows little distraction from them. If paired with agents, it will gladly act as lure, distraction, or more attractive target to spare them harm.
Intelligent - Clever and resourceful, Rattle is a flexible hunter and appears to have something approaching a sense of humor about its work. While it has its preferred methods and strategies, it is quick to observe when a change in the geography - or the enemy - would necessitate an on-the-fly adaptation of its tactics.
Flaws:
Cruel - While it at least has the self-control to save its energies for what serves its masters (and what is left of its own ideas), Rattle has no sense of remorse or conscience to guide its decisions. It acts according to what entertains it, no matter the consequences. It is also, accordingly, difficult to dissuade from its activities, if for some reason someone wants to.
Fixated - Once its prey drive is activated, it cares for nothing until it has achieved it. It is accordingly prone to getting itself into nasty situations and dusted instead of knowing when to let well enough alone. If its target successfully evades its attacks, it will sometimes spend hours in fruitless, frustrated attempts at re-finding it.

Abilities:
Grapple : With a remarkable range of motion in its arm-antlers and stout, powerful hands and fingers, Rattle’s preferred method of hunting is seizing its prey physically.
Gouge : The ends of its finger-antlers are hard and sharp - more like antlers than fingers - and it does not hesitate to deploy them as a weapon for whatever convenient squishy bits present themselves.
