The more damage it takes, the more its form flickers, shredded like wind-torn snow. The wolf fights with the relentless instinct of a dire beast, but it is not invulnerable. It will never run. It will fight until its body is broken and flickering, then--finally--a sudden gust will rip through the air and carry its dissolving body away. Howls echo on the wind. The rest of its pack probably isn't too far behind. Note: This strange wolf is not a youma but can be used as a battle requirement for a character. It can only be used as a battle if there are two powered characters involved; you cannot write a solo and count this as a battle, and your character must be powered to meet battle requirements. You can use the prompt for as many characters as you like and it will count as a battle requirement, however if you repeat the prompt with the same character, only the first time will be usable as a battle. His power-up didn't come with a built in jacket, so he was pretty cold and he forgot to bring sweats and a jacket. Either way, Turkana was determined to get home or at least close enough so he could power down and jog the rest of the way. He made a mental note to himself to experiment with subspace to see what he can and cannot put in there. For now, he would just have to prevent himself from catching some sort of breathing sickness. He thought he heard a howl abd that pushed him to walk just a bit faster, the temptation to grab his switch knife was eating away at him.

Sarin was glad his new uniform had come with a long sleeve shirt, even if it did have holes in it. He shivered in a cold wind that seemed to be howling, literally. Up ahead he felt an Order signature, felt like first level. It would be nice to get to know some of the other folks on his side. He held up a hand in greeting as they got closer. “Hey,” he said and smiled a bit. “Find anything interesting?”

The order signature was something he ignored till they decided to talk. It was a rather dumb question because obviously he hasn't found anything interesting, but he supposed he could respond. “No.” He sighed and kept his hands under his armpits to keep them warm, “Just a howl.” He stiffened once he heard a howl again, his head quickly turning towards the source of the noise.
The wolf appeared as if the wind summoned it, growling and snapping at the two order soldiers. Turkana snarled and got into a fighting stance, tossing the useless stuffed paw into subspace while pulling out his favorite switch knife.
Looks like Micah might have to help him with some more scars after tonight.

Well, they didn’t seem very talkative. “I heard the howl, too,” he said. And there it was again. Followed by the actual wolf. “s**t,” he cursed and took a fighting stance alongside the page, wishing he could find a weapon he liked enough to use and use. His panic magic didn’t always work.
When the wolf growled, Sarin started going around to its side, so it would have to choose one of them to keep an eye on. If it went after him, then the page could attack it. But if it went after the page, then he would attack it. At first the wolf didn’t know which one posed a bigger threat, turning its head back and forth between them as it continued to growl and snarl
And then it lunged toward him. “Oh s**t!” he cursed and dodged to the side - putting the wolf’s back in the page’s direction. The wolf’s teeth snapped inches from Sarin’s arm, and he used the other to swing a punch toward the wolf’s ear. Jeez, this thing was freezing!

Well at least the senshi was good for something.
As soon as the wolf turned its back to him, Turkana did not waste time, rushing forward to stabbing the wolf in its hind quarters. He hissed at the cold that came in contact with his hand, but that didn't stop him from pulling the switch knife out to stab again with the intent to make the wound on its back bigger. The blood caused his hand to burn with the cold, but he kept going till the wolf howled in pain and turned to face him, quickly swiping its claws at his thigh. Turkana wasn't able to back away in time and he didn't have his switch knife [it was stuck within the wolf], so it looked like he had another scar to add onto his thigh. But now the wolf wasn't focused on the senshi so he could get his pound of flesh.

Sarin watched as the wolf flickered when the page stabbed it. “Wild,” he said. The wolf turned to face the page, so it was Sarin’s turn to attack. He kicked at the wolf’s legs and grabbed for the page’s knife. With an almost feral grin, Sarin twisted the blade before yanking it out. It was covered in the wolf’s icy blood that froze his fingers to the bone, but he got the weapon out and proceeded to jam it in the wolf’s flank, making it yelp and turn to snap its jaws at his hands. He couldn’t pull the knife out before the wolf snapped at him, so it was still stuck in the wolf’s side.
And now it was his turn to be bait. The wolf seemed to be flickering a little more now, so maybe they were getting closer to killing it. If you could kill a wolf made of wind and snow, anyway.

Apparently the wolf can cause the wounds to feel like ice which was good because it meant he didn't have to worry about bleeding from the scratch he received. Once the wolf was facing the senshi, he took this chance to pull out his switch knife so he could rush forward, leaping up to stab his switch knife into the wolf’s head while he managed to land on it. The wolf howled in pain, and started moving his head back and forth trying to dislodge the knight on top of him with the knife still lodged in his head. “Do you have some sort of power or?” He was going to ask if he was as useless as most of the magical people here, but he was trying to be nice. The wolf eventually managed to dislodge him, but he did take his switch knife with him.
The creature was flickering rapidly, so he figured that meant it wouldn't be able to take much more damage. However, the creature now focused on him and he grinned manically, “C’mon…I'm waiting.” the wolf charged, and he managed to dodge this time, giving the senshi an opening.

Oh, damn. This page wasn’t ******** around. He was glad they were on the same side. “I mean, yeah, but I’m not sure it’ll work on a wolf made of wind and snow. Besides, do you really want a wild animal to panic? Cuz that’s what I do,” he said and lunged for the wolf, wrapping an arm around its throat from behind. He hoped the flickering didn’t mean that the wolf would phase through his arm or something. The wolf bucked like a damn horse trying to get him off, but eventually another wind blew hard and took the wolf with it. Sarin landed on the ground on his a**, but at least the wolf was gone.

Ah, so this senshi had useless powers….
Why couldn't he meet someone that could actually do some damage or something?
The moment the wolf disappeared, Turkana stood up with a small wince, switching his knife closed and tossing it into subspace. “Well, now that we are done, I will head home. Injury tends to.” he didn't wait for the senshi to say anything, he just turned and started walking off. He's had enough for one night and his work laptop and some coffee was calling his name.
