Following immediately after an unfriendly creature

Once he managed to get Lovas to the bench, Feronia sat down and pulled things out of subspace. The little first aid kit, and then one of the bottles of water he had, which he offered to the other cautiously. All the bites and scratches that were all over the other senshi made him feel queasy as he looked at them.

"Are... you okay?" Not sure if he meant more related to the injuries or their state of mind. Out of all the people he had met, both human and non-human, he'd never seen someone so... wild. It wasn't something he was sure he liked, but they had helped him, so he should help them in return.

"I have this too, if you need it." Setting the first aid kit between them on the park bench before he went back to carefully trying to get the bits of tattered fabric out of the wound on his wrist and forearm. It too was making him sick, but he didn't think it was good for things to be stuck in it.

Lovas thought he was... relatively tolerant of bad s**t happening to him. Nothing had ever been so awful that he couldn't physically recover from it, and this was not likely to be an exception. -But it had still been a very long while since anyone had helped him in any significant way. Thaddeus had cleaned up cuts and scrapes Lovas had gotten in the few scuffles he'd found himself in since his arrival on Earth.

What he had now was slightly worse than cuts and scrapes.

Some of the bites were deep punctures, some of the scratches long and jagged. And the cold? It made him practically useless, stumbling as Feronia guided him to sit on some bench a handful of paces away from where the corpse of the wolf should have been, if it hadn't dissolved into slush and smoke. Nothing to show for the scuffle besides injuries. ...So disappointing.

But none of that showed as he plopped onto the bench with a soft groan, head falling back over the edge and heavy arms coming up to press the heels of his palms into his eyes. A little rumble of what sounded suspiciously like laughter bubbled out of his throat. "This...?" He hummed, cracking a smile at the other Senshi's perturbed expression. "It's barely anything. My world had creatures far more dangerous. And when it didn't..."

Well, when it didn't, there'd been Chaos, which was equally as devastating and destructive.

And he'd faced that alone.

Recovered from whatever injuries he suffered alone.

Comparatively, this was nothing... Lovas would heal, given enough time. Which he supposed he would need in abundance, since he wasn't on his planet to receive the boons it gave him. ...For the best, probably... He couldn't afford to be an additional drain on whatever vitality his world had left. Whatever help this other boy could give him would have to be enough.

Another Senshi. Definitely not human. So not born here, on Earth... His situation shouldn't be... that different from Lovas'? He didn't know what other circumstances existed among the Senshi that came from space. But this one was so... small and meek, and his gaze darted quickly over and away from Lovas like he was seeing blood for the first time and didn't like it.

Lovas wasn't used to seeing most of the supplies in the kit, and his comprehension of Earth language was still not advanced. But he knew how to bandage and had water and stitching in his own kit. Those were things he could manage himself. Which was more than he thought he could say for the boy with his wrist injury. Taking a deep breath, he nudged trembling, frostbitten knuckles to the side of the first aid box.

"Do you know how to use this stuff? Or read? Can you read Earth language? I don't mean to be presumptuous, buuuuut... Honestly, you don't look very good at this." A snort of a laugh. "But that would be crazy! Ridiculous! Your from some other world, like me. You should have been fighting Chaos for... years. A little scrape like this?" He peered at the other's wrist. "It's a mild injury for people like us."

With the mention of things on their world being far more dangerous, Feronia paled more. "O-Oh... how frightening..." Just the sound of it had him figetting and fretting on the spot, his ears twitching as he was trying to strain and pay attention for anything else that might come around even as they spoke.

But the question about the kit and the language had him tilting his head. Sure, there were still things he didn't exactly understand, but he was good at learning from watching Antisana and from listening to the things other humans talked about when he wandered. If anything, the fact that he was small and easily overlooked had left him in a great position to learn so much about this planet since he'd arrived.

"Yes, I do! Well, I watched my friend use it, and I learned how to read from things they have...." His confidence only perking up for a moment before trailing back off into hesitancy as they mentioned fighting and something called chaos.

Looking at him in confusion, like a deer in the headlights, he looked back down at his arm. "I don't know what chaos is."

Is that why nobody was there when I woke up?

The question lingered on his tongue, not exactly wanting to bring it up in case it was related to the inner workings and ceremonies of the Vinemoss; those weren't for others to know, otherwise it might cause trouble for the group.

"I just know I was home and then I was here. And maybe that everything feels so different but..." Quieting down, his ears drooped, and he looked at the wound on his arm with a frown. The fact that something like this was supposed to be normal felt wrong.

Lovas did not know how to read Earth language or use much of Earth's medicines, but he was very accustomed to fixing himself up, given that he had spent... centuries in what was practically a constant battle. He could tie bandages and knew the effects of certain poultices. What this little Senshi had in the case could surely only be used a handful of ways. And the other kept fretting and twitching like he barely knew what to do with himself.

Maybe he didn't, if he didn't know what Chaos was. It was such a wild and unfathomable mission that it did give Lovas pause for several seconds.

A Senshi from another world who had never experienced Chaos? There could not possibly be one of their worlds left untouched... could there? ...Well, maybe it went by something else. The sickness. The wither. The evil. They'd called it many things on his own planet.

"Well, nevermind that then," Lovas said dismissively, waving it away absently. It was not his duty to broach such heavy and unapproachable topics with people who seemed to have barely even any concept of what pain and death were. "Let me see that. Come on, I promise to be gentle." He gestured toward the smaller Senshi's wrist. It would be faster to handle that injury than the several Lovas had sustained. ...And he was no stranger to pain, no stranger to the way the cold numbed him. It would need to be tended to- but it did not really phase him one way or the other if it was now or later.

He peered into the small case with a critical eye. Bandages were the easiest to identify, but there was also very small and sticky tape that might have filled the same purpose. He ripped open a package and sniffed at a moist pad- very sharp scent. Something to clean it, probably.

There was also a sweet-ish smelling gel that he didn't really know what to do with, some sort of tacky substance in a bottle (that he also didn't know what to do with), some kind of small scissors, gloves, a package that was very resistant to being opened...

Fine, just the bandage and the little moist pad for now.

"Are you going to allow me to help you?"

"Oh... okay," he responded as they dismissed that odd topic of something called chaos. It had come up once, with Antisana, but even then, he didn't exactly grasp it.

Watching them pilfer through the med kit had him wondering how feral this senshi was, just sniffing at things and tearing them open willy-nilly. "Oh uh... those are alcohol wipes to disinfect, and burn creams and gel antiseptics..." Though as he spoke the last word, he stumbled with it, still not exactly sure, it felt right as he said it.

With them just settling on the bandage and pad, he felt a bit hesitant about their ability to use things, but he didn't think he could do it himself, nor did he want to look down at his blood more than he had to.

"Yes, yes, you can help.... sorry." Extending his arm out towards them, he looked away from it with a frown.

With explicit permission (which was apparently something he "needed" from people who took up residence on Earth), Lovas took the other Senshi's small arm in his palm. Between the two of them, there was plenty of red splattering their hands and clothes. It was difficult to tell an origin for any of it, but a few blots of Lovas' sash, followed by the gentlest cleaning he could possibly muster with the antiseptic wipe, he at least got to the point of being able to see the other Senshi's cuts.

"Mm, it's a bit deep, but it's not very wide. If it scars, it'll barely be noticeable." And it was only because this boy seemed so perturbed by his injury that Lovas added, "I'm not much of a healer, but I've treated my fair share of wounds. It'll be sore for a few days, but you'll forget it's there in two or three. Maybe even less if you visit your world."

'Maybe' because Lovas was almost positive that his own world could barely risk him being injured, sick, weakened if it wanted him to outlast the Chaos. He'd hardly been impervious to any ailments, but they'd resolved more quickly on his wold than they had on any other planet he'd been on.

But... this boy didn't know about Chaos. If there was no Chaos to injure him, maybe there was no need for planet-infused healing, either.

It was hard to know which things were a universal truth, and which were his own experience.

He wrapped the boy's wrist in bandage, with the instruction to, "Not leave the bandage on for too long," and then set to the myriad of cuts on his own form. Lovas' arm was shredded from cramming most of it in a huge monster's mouth. Much of the white of his fuku was stained red from claws cleaving into his chest. ...And Lovas himself was not small. He didn't think this little kit had enough bandages in it...

But, whatever. Thaddeus would do a better job of tending him back at the house, if previous experience was anything to go by. So Lovas shed the outer layer of his vest, took up a bottle of something with that sharp smell and doused as much of the fabric as he could before wrapping it as tightly as could be managed with its weird shape around his arm.

"Oh, I don't think I told you," he started, brows furrowed as he tucked his chin to stared down at the gouges on his chest, and just... smearing down his pecs with the antiseptic-and-blood-soaked vest wrapped around his arm. "I am Lovas."

Jumping slightly at the sting from the wipe, he nodded as they mentioned scars and wounds. His ears drooped more just thinking about it, not that he had any opinions really about scars and their appearance. It was more just the blood and violence of things that didn't sit right with him as they spoke. What caught his attention and had him looking back was the mention of going home.

Once the bandage was on and they let him know what to do next, he pulled his wrist back slowly and settled a bit. "I haven't gone back yet..." Part of him felt bad about it, but at the same time, he hadn't been sure what steps to take next. There hadn't been anything in the journal he'd grabbed on his way out. None of the rituals or ceremonies had a solution for whatever had happened. Even now, he wasn't sure if lying back down and just finishing the last rite would fix it all or not.

Looking back at them, and how shredded up they seemed from the fight, he wondered if he'd have to do something like that to fix things. Though he didn't really have the first clue about fighting or doing much of anything in that manner.

"O-oh. Lovas. Okay, I'll remember that. You'll be okay, though, right? You said you would heal if you went home, so will you be going back to rest and heal?"
