Half hoping Jack had been smart enough to lock it. But the soft click and turn of the knob made Hana roll his eyes. He opened the door , peeking his head in the bathroom. " Jaaaaackkkk" he called out in his usual sing-songy way when he wanted Jack's attention.

Jack might have locked the bathroom door...if he'd thought there'd have been any reason to. Since his roommate and himself were both guys, he hadn't thought it was that big a deal if they saw each other without clothes. At the locker rooms in Romano's where they had stayed together, guys had changed and showered in front of each other all the time.
So it was purely because he was startled, he told himself, that he yelped and panicked when Hanako opened the door to the bathroom just after his shower and he hastened to wrap a towel around his waist.
"Wh-what is it?!" he asked, clutching his towel like a lifeline as he regarded Hanako suspiciously. He hadn't liked the way his roommate had sung his name, either. It didn't bode well.

Paying attention to Jack as a form of politeness to the conversation and not any other reason. " Im bored" he shrugged with a grin. " You mentioned you're free today aren't you? Let's go out"

Jack blushed slightly at Hanako's grin, the line of his mouth twisting as he made a face. He sighed and, while using one hand to hold the towel around his waist in place, used his other hand to run his fingers through his wet hair, slicking it backward.
"Yeah, alright, let's go," he sighed with a small, exasperated smile. "I don't have any other Christmas plans."

The slight blush turned into a more intense one.
"My answer had nothing to do with the way you asked me!" he insisted enthusiastically, waving his hand that he had pushed through his wet hair at Hanako so that the water droplets on it went flying out at him. Then the rest of his roommate's words gave him pause and he reached back up to rub his neck, looking away bashfully.
"Why don't you, um..." he began before the other young man closed the door entirely, trying to think of how to word what he wanted to say. "...Why don't you go through my clothes and pick something out for me? Otherwise I might do something like wear that 707 cosplay again and make you hate me on accident or something."

Hanakos eyes widened surprise at Jack's offer. Going as far as just simply pushing the door wide open right before leaning against the doorway, a small smirk on his face. " Oho? You're letting me dress you up, is that what I'm hearing?" He teased.

"Just this once!" Jack shot back, grabbing another towel to put over his head and cover his ruddy face dry his hair. "I wouldn't know what to wear on whatever kind of outing you have planned, anyway. Like if it's casual or formal or...whatever."

You trusting me with our closet and our outing without asking a gazillion questions? You should've said so~!" If Jack was able to see Hanako, he'd be able to see Hanako get off the doorway, beckoning Jack to follow him. Though he didn't wait for Jack to follow him before heading to Jack's room. " I do hope you don't treat your clothes the same way you treat your bed. Please tell me theyre hanged with a clothe hanger and folded at least" he proceeded to get in Jack's room and opened his closet. The memory of finding Jack in here cosplaying as 7 briefly going through his mind, making him shake his head and focus on the task at hand.

Underneath the cover of the towel on his head, Jack grinned and rolled his eyes. "You want me to ask a gazillion questions? Because I will if you don't hurry up and pick something for me to wear! I'm freezing here!"
Hearing Hanako's voice volume decrease as he turned away, Jack managed to see Hanako beckon to him to follow and quickly stepped up to obey.
"Please. The reason my bed isn't neat is because I'm just going to mess it up again the next day. Clothes you only wear once before washing them again - mostly - so naturally, it's best to keep them neat until they're ready to be worn."
When they got to Jack's room and opened his closet door, it revealed a selection of clothes that were indeed hung up on hangers and folded into elegant stacks on shelves according to the type of article of clothing they were.

──❀──❀*̥˚─┐ Hanako Tone 24 DEC 2025 ───❀──❀*̥˚┘ " Ahaha well I know another way you could warm up if- " Hanako paused, stopping his joke. " Nevermind~" He hummed, opening the wardrobe. Momentarily shocked at the organisation in the wardrobe. Grinning. " Be honest, you were inspired by me weren't you?" He teased, digging through Jack's closet with interest. His fingers brushed against the hanged clothes as he swiped them, picking through the clothes as if inspecting them. Trying to redirect his focus to what outfit to give Jack than be distracted by the comfortably familiar and disgustingly annoying scent that seemed to cover the whole wardrobe. Finally taking a hanged long sleeve, and folded pants. Turned around with a pleased smile, placing the two carefully on Jacks unfortunately not neat bed before sitting on the edge of it. " There we go" he patted the folded pants. " This combo seems good. I thought we could just take a walk in town and check out the winter stall things. Righto then, chop chop. We don't have all day"
