I would definitely tune her out lol
Sounds like a businessperson/parent. Always knowing more about things and informing those around them of their inaccuracies.
Oh my goodness I would have probably slapped her for that. xD "Oh yeah by the way have your husband become dependant on me so that we're all conjoined at the hip" Great idea, mum.
Cheers, and I feel for him. I didn't pack until I had 2 hours left to pack all of my things into boxes before moving. derp. That was difficult as sin.
yep, thats my method to dealing with her madness :XD
yaaaaaa like sorry mom, we are not leaving our stable and secure lifestyle for the fact that your business that frankly isnt secure and stable.
she has had a business before that 'was taking off' but then then it went to pits and they were dirt broke for a while <__<
i still dont believe they have money now, i mean it confuses me. they say that they have money but its nowhere to be seen. i guess because theyre very spendy people...
neither of them know how to live cheaply. [i mean her/her husband]
ah well =3=
i am looking forward to moving! ;D
so close! >u< like 2 and a half weeks away... o__o;;;;; ouo;;;
and holy s**t just 2 hours!? youre a mad man!!
Well shoot that stinks. I would have searched for FT employment when my business started dropping into the pits. Or would have changed things up to make the business more efficient and profitable.
Oh lordy. I know how to live cheaply. I can eat the same stuff forever and all that give great nutrition and all and live in a small space with very little things and work and stay cooped up. c: I like writing.
It'll be fun, I'm sure. So close, so close. Yup but then again I don't have a lot of things to pack.

If he was being completely honest, Undine thought there was little value in powering up, and he had a strong preference for Not Doing It, if he could help it. He didn't like the idea of his aura attracting anything when he was just a Page with no magic and no weapon. And even going to his Wonder yielded little by way of intrigue. So usually, he would stick to being just Calder.
But today...
Well, today it was dark, and he was alone on his way home, and being alone did make for being an easy target, and- and- and-
And he had already had to fend a Youma off himself this evening as he was just minding his own business, so... So maybe being 'just Calder' didn't work out as well as he'd hoped. He was lucky the creature was stupid and just an amalgamation of evil that Undine didn't care about killing with whatever feral energy he could muster when his well being was threatened. Not that it was dead-dead, but it was dead enough to leave him alone, and he was too tired to worry further.
He trudged down the sidewalk, hair a mess, clothes muddy and grimy, a grimace twisting his otherwise beautiful face because a Page with no weapon and no magic didn't just fight off a Youma without breaking a sweat or getting messy (no matter how stupid it was).
When he felt another aura, it occurred to him to avoid it. Home was the most important thing to him. But that aura flagged his side for more than a single block, and Undine eventually had to wonder how far in the same direction they were going? It would be convenient to not be alone. So this once, just this once, maybe he could take a quick detour to meet up with another Knight.
He intersected them by alleyway, and was quickly aware that he looked significantly more worse-for wear than the other did... Still, he tried to smile, offering what dregs of camaraderie he had when he asked, "Where you headed?"

While Schwetzingen felt someone coming closer, someone who felt like another page but not Kaisariani, he wasn't sure exactly if that was a good or bad thing. Keeping things between him and his... well, the thought of what label to use felt complicated, so he focused more on how close this new person felt. When they popped out of an alley, he was startled by how rough they looked. Stiffening up a bit, he tried to peer over and behind them as he stood on his toes so that he could see if anything had chased or followed them. The last thing he wanted to do was fight without Kaisariani here with his staff. "Did something follow you and... are you okay?" Keeping his distance, he was more aware of the sound of stone grinding against stone coming from up above. This didn't seem like a good series of events, but maybe this page might have something more useful than a flower to fight if something was, in fact, following them both. "I was heading towards the other side of town to look for something in one of the twenty-four-hour pharmacies." Lying slightly since he didn't really know this person, or if they would try following him home. Either way, he would call Angel or at least text him to keep an eye out for this person, just in case they started to stick around either the shop or his home.

"Follow?" His voice was just an octave too high, incredulous that someone would think Undine was just out here leading enemies around in the direction of other Knights (it was only kind of true that he was barely functional as a Page; this stranger didn't need to know that). "No," he snapped. "There was a Youma. I dusted it. Just-" He slung his hands down, gesturing to his muddy uniform and unkempt hair. "Not without casualties..." It would clean itself the second he was out of it. His hair and his bruises would take longer to mend.
Although he had intended to be friendly, the night had already taxed him enough, and Undine had never been that great at putting on airs. No one could expect him to keep up this facade when he was tired- and the Ida Page was accusatory.
"I'm fine," enough. Fine enough. "Just going home to get out of these atrocious wet clothes and-" And take a shower, but a warning hitch in his throat almost felt like he was about to cry about it- Dirty, wet, tired, mildly injured- But of course he wasn't going to ******** break down here on the street when he would be home in twenty minutes, anyway, and that s**t was supposed to be private. He swallowed, dropped his tone. "Going home," Undine insisted more forcefully. "That way."
"Do you want someone to walk with you a little ways?"

Jumping slightly at the sharpness of the other's words, he didn't like the sound of youma following or anything else popping up after the less-than-pleasant season it had been so far. Nothing else seemed to stir around either of them at least, something that made him feel at least slightly more at ease. But noticing things as they spoke, he rubbed at his arm and looked down a bit. "Alright, probably better than getting caught by something." Now that it seemed like neither of them was really keen on dealing with youma or whatever else might pop up. "I have this if you need it?" Shifting slightly, he pulled one of the small first aid kits out of his subspace before offering it over to them. Taking slow steps closer to not startle them or have them change their mind about things, he tried to relax a little since nothing else seemed to be around at the moment.
