My most long lasting friend ever (think we met around 2013 or a bit earlier through a shared community) just broke my heart the other day by making it obvious how paranoid and untrusting they are. Seen them do it to others endlessly over the years, nothing changes, but it doesn't change the fact that it really hurts when they turn on you as easily as they turn on others.
This wasn't even the first time...
They had even been doing better in recent years, I was playing support and therapist friend. I do wish them the best in the future, that they can get past these bad traits. Our paths will always cross, because they are obsessed with the community we share.
