Ella studied a lot for her classes, using notes from her family and friends to try and boost her scores. She worked really hard on classwork, doing her best to get high marks. Of course, in some classes, such as History, she struggled a lot more. Despite her best efforts, Ella failed that one. Most of her classes got good grades, which serve to boost her overall scores. Thankfully, most of her extra difficult classes had been dropped after third year, allowing her time to focus on the ones she preferred.

Ella was determined to study with every free moment she had. While she didn't abuse potions, she fell asleep in the library more than once. She compiled notes from all her friends and family, earning a ton of extra insight. She was even able to use some of the different teaching styles from Durmstrang to help with a few of her classes. With a ton of practice and studying, Ella put up some excellent grades, even if she didn't flawlessly pass all her classes.
