Personality: Her personality is fearless and unapologetic. She's athletic and was considered a tomboy growing up. She was brought up with access to resources, support and motivation. Coupled with her tenacity, love of the open sea and big dreams for the future, she can see herself as nothing else other than an eventual Treasure Hunter. Even more, she has bigger dreams of becoming an infamous Pirate Queen. She's always kept an eye out for worthy crew to sail alongside her.

Description: For as big and fierce as her personality, she's surprisingly short. She also has a small scattering of Yaeli freckles across the bridge of her noes and cheeks, as well as her shoulders (the places most commonly touched by the sun). She's relatively lean, with developing muscles from working alongside her Father building ships. Her chest is modest, but she does have a large, round backside and thicker thighs (traits she inherited from her Mother). She prefers to keep her hair short-medium length and also in some kind of up-do so that it's practical and kept out her face. She'll frequently sport a pair of space buns with a few accent braids.

Clothing: She primarily wears simple clothing in neutral shades with the occasional pop of muted sage green or light blue. She wears practical vests (dark brown/black) that she can work in, rather than corsets. Underneath she generally has a button down shirt with a flamboyant high collar and the sleeves rolled up to the elbow. One of her most treasured gifts from her Father is her sturdy and practical pair of tall boots.

Accessories: She adorns herself with a variety of eclectic treasures she's collected and valued. They carry a greater sentimental value than financial. Her ears are pierced, but she ears one hoop and one dangling stone. She'll continue to add more piercings as she ages. She has no issues mixing metals, wearing both bronze and silver together. She wears a necklace that was a gift from her Mother and the only known item she has to remember her by. Traditional to the Geian's, she also wears buckles and belts wherever she can add them. If a bandana/headband fits nicely above her bangs and below the space buns/up-do, I think it would complement her aesthetic and vibe well, otherwise a smaller one around her neck? She'll also wear a cloth scarf/sash wrapped around her waist that her Father used to wear frequently when she was younger. It was one that her Mother crafted.

History:

She grew up with her Father, an intelligent and skillful ship maker in Belrea. As such, she was not brought up with much faith in Religion. When he was younger, her Father studied at the Academy of Steam and encouraged the same for his single child and daughter. While not nearly as bright at her paternal parent, she inherited his resourcefulness and and love for the open seas. She always wondered how he could craft so many incredible vessels and not set sail to experience what they were capable of. His daughter admired his handiwork, but absolutely dreamed of a life that he would disapprove of.

The Geianes were hands on and she wanted nothing less. While not outspoken to her parent, she dreamed of an enormous future on the open seas, sailing a ship designed for her by her Father himself. She wanted to become a Treasure Hunter and Pirate Queen, despite her father hoping for a more lawful future for his single child.

She didn't feel capable of sharing these dreams with her father, especially when the other half meant finally meeting her mother. Even now that she was a teenager, her father refused to share much about how they'd met or why they weren't together today. She always wondered why her mother would give her up in the first place.

The truth was her father encountered her mother more than once when he was traveled through Yaeli to deliver ships in trade for sailing textiles and other goods. He met the Yaeli woman at the ship Port settlement called Ilidan. Due to the more diverse nature of the settlement, her mother wasn't nearly as prejudice against the other Earthlings that passed through. After a few stops and one lunch together, she gifted him with a nice blouse in the traditional Yaeli style. Realizing that he felt a fondness for her far greater than a simple shirt might inspire, the two shared a long and romantic weekend together before he returned to Belrea.

She was a skilled seamstress, who trained many apprentices who traveled to Ilidan to learn from her. Her eyes still glowed, a trait which revealed that she had never once left her homelands of Yaeli. She still carried a flame that forever burned for the father of her child, but she knew that her daughter would live a brighter future in the mecca of technologies and innovation. She also knew that her mixed Yaeli child would experience harsh judgements from the more pure minded and isolationist Yaeli on their island.
