Our dear friend,
White Mage Rose (..Rosie..Jenn),
passed away from an ailment that presented itself back in August 2023.
Sadly, it is something that I am quite unfamiliar with.
From my understanding, (**via second hand knowledge) she was suddenly very ill with a form of brain infection and thus taken to the hospital and then placed in a nursing home for around the clock care.
Due to her having several other medical conditions as well, the infection took such a toll on her body that it was unable to fight it off. And her body slowly began to shut down.
She passed away in the early hours of this past Thursday morning.
I last spoke with Rosie right before she became ill.
She was in good spirits and cheerful. Such a bright spirit with a great attitude towards life even when it got her down. She always had a joke and a laugh when I would chat with her on the phone; and had a story or two about her precious cats.
Rosie absolutely adored Gaia. She loved all of her friends here. She enjoyed being a part of wherever there was any kind of conversations or role playing threads taking place.
I will miss her immensely.
As I am sure the rest of her friends here will too.

Today, April 1st, would have been Rosie's 52nd birthday.
We lost her way too soon and at such a young age.
She always had kind words and a warm thought for me.
I miss her random text messages and her phone calls.
I miss her cheerful voice on the other line saying "Hi Pooky"! when I would answer.
I really miss her here on Gaia.
It's been hard on me to come here and know that she's not here anymore.
I believe that's why I have stepped away from Gaia.
Every time I log on I expect to chat with her or see a message in my inbox or on my profile.
It makes me sad.
Anyway, I hope everyone will join me in wishing her a very Happy Birthday!!

Another year has passed by without my dear friend.
White Mage Rose [ Rosie ] [ Jenn ( irl ) ]
But I am back here on her memorial thread posting again to wish her a very Happy Birthday.
She would have been 53 today ( 4.1 )
I still miss her random texts and letters in the mail.
And I definitely miss her here on Gaia.
With all of the glitches and bugs lately, it's funny that it's made me think of her.
She was always the one constant thing for me here. All of her replies to people's posts and her random ranting threads. I giggle when I imagine her venting. She had some spunk to her. She liked to make friends and please people. But she wasn't afraid to speak her mind and give her opinion.
I really miss that.
