Mrs Aizawa Says:First off, I'd like to apologize about my last thread. I have had some great things happen to me, with the Lord. He's changing me for the better. I've been listening to pastors/preachers (various places) and sometimes they talk about being careful what we watch/listen to. Is stuff like my hero academia, and Chicago fire ok? I listen to Christian radio stations. Am I allowed to create hero OC's?

I'm not sure what hero OC's are. I do believe we must use good judgement in what we watch. If we watch something more intense, we should just ask ourselves, "Why am I watching this?" to be sure our motives are in the right place.
It's a bit controversial, though. Some Christians don't want to deal with any movies or entertainment outside of Christian ones because they believe it poisons the mind.
I rely more on action and intention. What is the action? What is the motive? Is the intention good?
I'm not sure if I helped or not, but I hope I could give some perspective 3nodding

Tbh, I don't watch near as much TV as I use to. The Lord gave me a job! biggrin Can you please pray for my friend Krystal. She's a family friend of 30+ years. I'm worried about her.

After her Mom died, she started to practice the dark arts. 😔 She use to be a good Christian. I've been praying for her too. But as much prayer as possible for her, would be best.

That's more common than I'd like to think about, but I'm sorry to hear that sad that is discouraging. Definitely praying that she'll find a way out of her grief and come back to the Lord.

It's definitely not uncommon for people to blame God when they've lost someone close to them. Not saying it's the right course of action because it definitely isn't, but when some people have such significant pain in their life, they tend to lose a lot of hope and are having trouble recovering from that loss. Your friend could be suffering from complicated grief, too. Grief itself never really goes away completely, we just learn to adapt to it as time moves forward, but some people have intense grief for years that simply isn't subsiding. She may want to look into a grief and loss counselor that can help with that aspect. She sounds like she's hurting deep down emotionally and that makes sense.
