I got called to jury duty for the first time just as it was starting. In an overcrowded jury pool room, stuck there for 2 weeks, I met my now closest friend, learned how to play poker, gambling with cheerios and chocolate chips (betting money isn't legal here so it seemed unwise to do so at a courthouse, lol) and ended up on a jury the last day in the poolroom, extending my jury duty another 5 days.
