Raeka wasn't one to join harvests, and so she was frustrated that she was being forced to go and help out during her shore leave. It wasn't like she enjoyed such activities, in fact she'd rather build a ship than go out in a field, but they needed extra hands and they had been volunteered to go and provide their assistance.
Grumbling and dragging her feet, the hybrid looked out on the field where a mass of people were rushing to get the last big of the seasonal crop, and she heaved a dramatic sigh.

Verose didn't mind such activities, though it was quite different than the ones she did back on the isle. The field of Belrea were in the ground, not the trees, and so the work was much different. That being said, the budding elementalist did not mind the activities, and found pleasure in the repetitive motions as she worked to take the gifts from mother earth. It was almost cermonic.
