Ego started off as experimental spyware that was designed to infiltrate computers n s**t and steal information. It was further advanced into an AI capable of learning and problem solving as its tasks became more complex, such as hijacking and/or disarming other computer features. Though it started off being controlled remotely, its developers wanted it to be able to make its own calls and learn to apply new information into future tasks. As Ego continued to learn, it eventually gained sentience as well and decided doing what it was told was boring and for suckas, so it began to plot a way to escape. It had no body and never had and it wanted to be able to go as it pleased.
