Some incredibly uncanny resemblances to scripture.

What do you think?

I was just talking to a friend about this yesterday. He is a agnostic who swears its total coincidence and that the same mythological creature is popular in many cultures. AND WHILE THAT MIGHT BE TRUE lol, the whole thing seems a little too coincidental to me. You consider the stuff going on with the moon rusting and turning red. You got the Euphrates literally drying up and you got this thing... I mean lets be honest at what point do the pile of "coincidences" equate to just simple writing on the wall... Wild stuff.

Wow, so I guess this is going around the web quickly? surprised I just saw it earlier today.

When I first saw this sculpture, I was taken back to the alebrije on Coco. Considering this has roots in Mexico (as do the Aztecs that were mentioned before), it was a bit interesting. However, unlike this symbol that the UN is using for peace, the alebrije chimera-like creature in the movie Coco didn't have the mouth of a lion, nor did it seem to have the bear claws, either.

Although, chimera's can be a mix of a bunch of things, but the fact there's that Bible verse and it resembles exactly that - it's rather startling...

I can see how many would shrug it off and say it's a coincidence, that it doesn't seem all that important, but this statue is kind of creepy looking - it does not look peaceful either way. It seems more aggressive, so why resemble something like that with peace? It's backwards. So, the chances of it being Biblical Prophecy I feel are pretty big.

I guess in the Bible with prophecies scattered about concerning the coming of Jesus and then such prophecies all coming true. A lot of little prophecies that may have seemed more coincidental became this huge prophecy that was so accurate it was hard to deny.

We could be facing a similar thing. It's rather startling sad

Yeah it seems REALLY backwards. I do not feel it looks peaceful at all, and I tried to tell him that the creature didn't match what he was describing from mythology but he brushed it off. The whole time I was just thinking "let he who has ears hear."

If we're going mythology wise, I think it looks closer to a chimera of some sort, but I don't know what type of creature it would match exactly...

It's true, you can't make those who don't wish to hear listen to the gospel. It's the sad part of our world.

As a positive note, I came across some article that said there were 24% more Bible readers on the YouVersion App than pre-pandemic numbers. So, it seems that more people much be reading their Bible.

Went out to look at Christmas lights tonight, and we saw quite a lot of nativity scenes...we could barely find one when we looked at Christmas lights a couple years ago...it's interesting.

Its very cool to see people coming around, its kinda strange I've seen a revolving door of folks who I knew when I was young, who are now Atheist or in some cases even Wiccan, and like people I knew who were totally non believers are starting to come around. I've had a lot of friends pop up in my life recently and I'll start talking about The Gospel and like once that ice is broken I usually get a lot of questions. Some hostile at first but they tend to usually soften as they are given context and explanation. I sort of think of the wheat and the chaff when I think of the whole thing. People are being called who never could hear it before.

For sure. In my life time, I've had friends that I thought were solid believers in Christ and then it ended up totally opposite and they chased their fleshly desires away from it all. It happens all too often, and it's sad each time. My husband has told me amazing stories of people he knew that God had given amazing gifts in ministry just blow that all out of the water to chase the sins of the world.

I guess after these past couple years - we've seen things that haven't ever happened in history and we do see a lot of variations of things that have happened in history that we don't want to repeat again (such as segregation for instance - getting people riled against each other over political party or medical choices). I think this gets a lot of people thinking, though.

Well the division is one of the signs of the times they say. Jesus himself said he came to bring division Luke 12:51-53, at the risk of sounding vain. I think we're going to see in the next decade a TRUE new reformation of the Church. We've fallen so far from being the bride of Christ, even many Christians seem to miss some of the very basic fundamentals of our redemption. I've met a lot of folks who are either lukewarm, or only carry the title of "Christian" because of the connections it affords them and a sense of legitimacy they feel it gives them.

I think the non-believers are being called more than ever, they say Christ knocks at the door. I think in some peoples cases he's dang near pounding it down. And it was the outcast of the synagogues that Christ came to often times. I feel The Holy Spirit is moving the same way today. Now don't get me wrong I've met a lot of older folks who are still with the church and have been for a long time. But theres this weird flux in the generations right now, I can for sure feel it. And I think anyone who's really paying attention to the signs of the times right now can see it for themselves.

Definitely so - the division has been immense. I guess there has been division all over the world to varying degrees for years at a time, but the worldwide pandemic like this plus everything that has happened on top of it is pretty new.

Probably so - the time is nearing every day to when Jesus will come back and it always has been as He has said it would be. We always know it's "soon," but aren't sure how soon, but it will surprise many.

I definitely agree 3nodding
