Please pray for a friend that has been close to my husband and I for a while, this friend had always seemed like such a wonderful Christian friend. We were all pretty close and this past year they had told us, "I'm gay."

Of course we were a bit concerned, but they just never seemed the type so we figured it was a phase that wouldn't last. They seemed to have this whole plan that told us, "I'm not happy unless I can have a relationship with another man. I hope to one day get married and adopt children."

People from church saw him at the carnival being affectionate with another man that we now know is his boyfriend.

The part that worries us the most right now is that he's chasing non-Christian relationships with others. He is getting involved with people that are known for substance abuse issues, abusing their partners, etc. We have told him about these people he is interested in. I have gone to school with them and they are all bad news (the ones he has mentioned to us by name) and my husband has shared his stories, I've shared mine. He has chosen to ignore us and now he's not really talking to us - avoiding being around us. He doesn't have plans to come back to the church we were attending. It feels pretty empty without him, to be honest.

It grieves me a bit that he's walking the other direction. Please pray for him an that his relationship with God grows and most of all - pray for his safety with the crowds he is choosing to get himself entangled with.

I know this one was a loaded cannon sweatdrop but I hope that our friend will be safe.
